When I sent in my DS-230 I included a letter about correcting my wife's birthday. The day is wrong. I hoped the NVC people would fix the error but when I recently called the NVC about another question, I used the incorrect birthday and the NVC officer accepted it which tells me the file is still incorrect.

I guess my wife will have to straighten it out at the interview unless someone has a better idea. Any thoughts?

hi.

the same thing happened to me.... well at least, similar.

they had my husband's wrong birthdate. so what i did was to send an email, together with the scanned copy of my hubby's birth certificate and passport.

it took them almost 2 weeks to correct the data, afterwhich i received an email saying that they had indeed corrected my husband's birthdate and that it is now reflected on their records.
