The interview itself was fine. I babbled like an idiot- which I normally do when I'm nervous. I forgot my health insurance card in the car and the auto insurance at home- he didn't seem to mind too much. He probably just figured me to be a stupid blonde and probably felt bad for Mel for marrying me.

Anyway- here is the problem:

I need to get a new medical done and bring it to the office before I can get my Greencard.

If any of you recall, I had a problem with my medical results at the Vancouver Consulate- DR. Chana's office checked off I had a Class B medical condition when I didn't and I had to wait for them to fix it and fax it to Vancouver so I could get my K3.

Both copies of the medical went to the New Orleans office, the one copy that said I had a B medical condition and the other copy that had been whited out and changed.

I am pretty miffed at Chana's office for being so incompetent, but I am also disappointed in the Vancouver office for not making some type of clarification that this was in fact an error on the Doctors part and I did not have a condition.

I'll run to the Civil surgeon later to make an appointment and ask them how much cash to bring, I have some movies to go back to the video store and it is close by.

Good luck with the medical and I hope things get straightened out for you!

is it imperative that you have health insurance for AOS?

I'm kinda hoping that whatever job I get has some options..

No, it was just because Miss S was added on to her Husband's - so it would be some proof of relationship.

Anyway MissStacey, sounds not too bad, having to redo the medical is not cool though, why can't they just accept a letter from Chana!

I'd rather cut off own arm with a butter knife than have to deal with that office again. Although I am debating about sending them a nice thank you card. "Thanks for F#cking up my medical, B!tches! Have a great f#cking life." Hugs and Kisses, Stacey.

I did make a medical appointment for tuesday. It will be $125.

Congratulations on your interview. Glad that other than the medical you'll be approved! Does this Dr. Chana still have the medical that was amended? Can he instead send a letter indicating that the medical "condition B", was in error? That might suffice instead of a whole new medical again. Check it out! Glad you're done for awhile now...you must sense immediate relief! (F)

I know Chana's office and they would not do anything for me. When I asked for a copy of my vaccination supplement when I got my medical they said no. They pretty much told me that once the results are done and sealed they want nothing more to do with any of it. The receptionist also told me that they hate dealing with the immigration people.

It's all good though- I have my appointment booked. I won't get any of the Lab work done because the results from the last medical haven't expired yet, so it should just be a basic physical.

The Civil Surgeon office I have to go to is also a dermatologist clinic.

I wonder if Mel would freak if I got a little botox done? :)

Dr. Chana has a reputation as being the worst panel physician in Canada, hands down. Your situation is ridiculous but when I heard it was Chana, I was hardly surprised. You shouldn't send them a card, just a stool sample as an award for feculence above and beyond the call of Doody. They rake in untold amounts of cash and yet they still behave in such an unbecoming manner. At least you're approved, so congratulations are in order.:dance:

I'd hold off on the Botox, Mel wouldn't freak but how would he tell if you're angry at him?
