NSC, NOA1 September 26th,03

received NOA1 in mail Oct. 03,03

RFE - received in mail March 29th,04

RFE returned April 17th,04

RFE received April 21,04 at NSC online

NOA2 received April 29th,04 via online

NOA2 received May 03,04 in mail

NVC receives file May 6th,04

NVC sends file to Nigeria May 11th,04

Lagos receives our file, notified thru e-mail May 19th,04

Victor goes and picks up packet #3....May 20th,04

Sent request for earlier interview date via e-mail May 20th,04

May 27th, Lagos won't change date.

August 16th, 2004 fly to Nigeria for Victors interview

August 19th, 2004 Interview date, visa approved.

August 25th, 2004 Victor picks up passport with visa stamp.

August 26th, 2004 fly back to USA

September 18th, 2004 Victor arrives in USA, Lord willing.

October 9th, 2004, we become husband and wife

October 25th, 2004 I learn that I'm pregnant.

Feburary 25th, 2005 AOS Appointment

( went to appt. and requested a reschedule)

June 7th, 05 gave birth to a boy child.

July 5th, 05 Victor packs he suitcase and leaves for good.

July 2005 2nd AOS appointment

( went and requested a reschedule )

August 2005- I file for divorce. and withdraw immigration paperwork.

Met on internet 6/04. Married at court house in Aba, Nigeria 12/04. 3/05 traditional ceremony in Nigeria w/ my picture. 12/05 finally together again. 4/06 ceremony/celebration in the states together

I think you've got me confused- my man's name is Awal.. and we just booked up a ticket with KLM that should arrive on the 15th!!!!!

Aubrey, what airline do you plan on using and how soon is before Irenious arrives?

Prolly KLM- it seems to be the cheapest right now..

So get this- I was quoted a price of about 1000 on the Ghanaian website, but when I called, I couldn't buy it with my American billed credit card!! They wanted to charge me... drumroll please.....3000!!!! Who knew? Not me anyways.... So I have to send money for Awal to buy the ticket which is kind of a pain because he just got back to Tamale......Sigh. But the worst of it's over, so I'm happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm praying he'll be here sometime in the next week!! :dance:

Too funny! Irenious is *my* husband! :D Though I understand how you could get us confused. Both of our men are from the northern regions of Ghana.

Aubrey, have you tried having Awal talk to the travel agents in Accra?

Haha, that's too funny! No worries!

And Kanyiri, Awal actually knows of a travel agent in Tamale that can get the cheaper ticket price. He called Accra, and they wanted 200 dollars more than in Tamale.... only the Lord knows how airline ticket prices work... lol. But he's all reserved, I just have to send the cash money money western union, which kind of sucks, because there's not enough time to do a wire.... but again---I DON'T CARE!!!! HE'S COMIN' HOME!!!!!

Doh! I lied.. he doesn't have a transit visa yet, so he's coming next Friday... I think that's the silliest visa I ever heard of...
