Did they issue a K-3 visa and require you to Adjust status once in the USA or did they issue a CR-1 visa and will provide resident card once entered the USA?
To be honest, I did not ask my wife but now that you mentioned this question, I will ask her today! I do not know why they would have issued a CR-1 though if I applied for a K-3. Can you advise on this please?

They did nothing yet, as my wife is still in France. I will go there in June and we will come back together, and I will let you know what happens after we come through immigration.

My wife had a successful interview last Thursday in Paris, and the visa arrived in her mail today! All of you filers, have faith and do not give up hope that your visa will be approved. Check, double check and triple check your forms so that your paperwork is not delayed because of a careless mistake. I had to UPS new forms to my wife in Paris because of a careless mistake, and they arrived only days before her interview!

It has been so difficult to be apart from each other, but in the end, love is what bonds your relationship, and it will be what gets you through to the end of your journey :dance::dance:

Congrats! Now the fun begins. At least you will be together. Adjusting status can be more stressful than the original petition.

1/2 way thru the AOS I was kicking myself in the butte I went with a K3 instead of a CR.

Still am!

Take your own advice again!

What visa did you end up with??

By the way, I spoke with my wife today and it was in fact a K-3 visa that she received and not a CR
