I think it is wrong not 90-120 days. On NOA2 said 2 to 4 weeks to get to NVC.

I have been trying to call them all evening and haven't been able to get through to them.. it says all the operators are busy ... i just want to know if they have my case

You should call them in the morning or evening at 6:00 pm. If you have any news on your status, Please keep us update...and I will do the same.

Hmm... As I could notice, a lot of cases are "delayed" to be sent to NVC... But the waiting time is only up to 4 weeks... This 90-120 days period is to get the NOA2!

The only thing that stops me from going crazy with this almost three weeks waiting is the fact that I see that we're all in the same boat! hehe Let's keep our fingers crossed and keeeep calling! We're probably hearing something from them until next week!

OK I just got through! YAY! The lady was very nice and told me that they don't have my case yet Oh well... at least I got through... I really miss being able to check the status online... I have said this before BUT I really NEED to see that my case is not progressing daily!!!

Anyway, she said it's not there yet and can take between 2-4 weeks for them to receive it.. my notice was sent 4-24-06 so Monday will be two weeks for me.

I asked her if I will receive a notice once she receives it and she said NO... Once they receive it they will process the paper work and I will get a notice once it has been sent to the embassy...

OK, that's what my notice says... Guess I just needed to hear it for myself insteading of reading it in type

I just got off the phone with NVC. As of today, they have not received my case yet. NOA2 4/25/06

i finally got through lat night @ 11:53 pm... *sigh* Thank God, because they close @ midnight...

my noa2 was rec'd on 04/18/06... and nvc just rec'd our k1 petition YESTERDAY...

if i am not mistaken... i think that csc sends out the petitions in bulk at least once a week...

try again next week..

YEAHH! Chris received the letter from NVC with the case number in snail mail yesterday!

They received our papers in May, 5th... And they said it's being delivered to Rio de Janeiro!

Our case was approved on 4/13/06 still hasn't been received by NVC as of this morning. At first they would tell me 2-4 weeks and now they are saying it could take up to 90 days for them to received it. {sigh}

There is just no rhyme or reason at all to this process. Mine was approved the same day. And is already leaving NVC. I hope I dont make you feel bad. It just amazes me that our petitions were not there at the same time. I hope and pray you hear good news soon.
