What if Obama loses IN and NC? What do you think should happen then?

He should concede the nomination to Sen. Clinton...

You know that there is a lot of arm twisting by Hillary and Bubba going on right now. With Obama tanking in the polls she has a point that Obama may not be the right person for the job. The last few weeks have been very telling. The SD's have been splitting right down the middle and Obama hasn't won a primary since Feb. I know your counting on this being over in June, I think it will get even more muddled then. Also remember that until the convention the SD's can change their minds. Hillary will be doing everything in her power to cause that to happen. If even one more Obama revelation comes out you will see his support fall away. You have to admit that this thing is going as if a script was written for the reps. Don't relax yet Dog.

Don't kid yourself, Gary....you've made that argument along time ago. The Clinton Dynasty finally crumbled. This race and the way the two candidates have conducted themselves has shaped what the superdelegates will do. They will choose and be done by the beginning of June. Mark my words.

They may choose but the way it's going it still will not be settled. FL and MI haven't been settled yet. The SD can change their mind if things start looking bad for Obama. Any number of things can happen. June will not be the end of the rainbow for your side. Watch for a real circus at the convention.

Don't relax yet Dog.

I am relaxed because I can't change a thing in this process. Now, I support a candidate and hope that candidate will be the nominee. I believe he should be based on having had more support in the primary process than Hillary as evident in his virtually insurmountable pledged delegate lead. If the Democratic Party foolishly allows the Clintons to take it down with them in 2008, then, frankly they don't deserve any better. Then we'll have McCain in the White House and possibly one of the two Congressional Chambers back in the Republicans hands which is not what I hoped for but then that's what it is.

Gary, if Obama secures the nomination by the beginning of June with the 2,025 delegates needed, all other scenarios and arguments will not be applicable. Right now he has 1732, there's 289 remaining uncommitted superdelegates and 9 Primaries left. Sit back and relax. You're going to need your energy when Obama takes on McCain in the general election. Get your checkbook ready. ;)

Your forgetting that even if Obama gets over the 2025 mark first that does not give him the nomination. It goes to whoever has the most delegates AND is over 2025. If Obama gets 2025 and later Clinton manages to get FL seated she would then have more delegates. Just because someone passes the mark does not mean they won.

Gary, do you want read that again? (hint: Obama will have the lead delegate count by June even if he loses the rest of the Primaries by more than 20)

Are you having tunnel vision? Whoever has the most delegates in Aug when the convention happens wins. There is nothing special about June. Even though the primaries are over it still isn't over. Any SD can change their mind right up to the moment they cast their vote on convention night. Something WILL happen with FL and MI. If they don't then it does not matter who the nominee is, they will lose the general. Stop focusing on June. It's just another month.

You know what...you should call up Howard Dean right now and tell him that he's got it all wrong. I'll see if I can find you the number. Oh brother...

Quite probably so, Steven. I think if we look beyond the pettiness of the latest round of Bull hitting the air that the voters that want to focus on real issues will vote as such and those that let themselves be molded by beauty contests can also vote as their basal instincts instruct them.

Don't relax yet Dog.

I am relaxed because I can't change a thing in this process. Now, I support a candidate and hope that candidate will be the nominee. Even though lets remember that voters deserve the politicians we elect (or let others appoint on "our" behalf ;)).

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Well here's one Obama supporter that is not interested in sleeping with the Republicans for being "my enemy's enemy."

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
