I am now 235 days into my I130 and when I called yesterday I was told it could be another 2 to 3

months. What a bunch of #######.

You type it in your signature.Go to my controls and edit signature.

I think that they are working on your file and that is why you are getting all those touches. They may be doing some checks, who knows.

I hope your approval comes very soon!

Good luck Dave, remember what I said??, no posting from you unless a approval. "Just kidding, we love hearing from you" I hope your approved today, that would be a great start to your weekend. Keep fingers crossed. And saying prays for us all.

sgr, I contemplated causing a scene on top of the Houses of Parliament like a lot of protesters do here in jolly old England

plackards, bells, and no clothes  ..... but realised that I'd probably make the national news and end up with my own TV program before USCIS approved me

Why are you calling the service centre ?

why don't you get your congressman to ask on your behalf ?? or better still, get them to put the pressure on for an approval .... at 235 days, I wouldn't mess around with calling the misinformation line anymore.

They have to reply within 48 hours to your congressperson ..... some are not helpful, and some are, it just depends on who you get.

certainly worth a try

USCIS have 48 hours to get back to your Congressman, so I'd give them a call and ask what the deal is.

If no help, you have 2 State Senators

Hello fellow VSC filers,

As we've noticed there has been a slight trickle of approvals coming from VSC, which is superb .... well done VSC and a pat on the back for you

I think you are right Sarah  Now people started posting their approvals :star: BTW, I had a "touch" on my I-129F yesterday, but the status still shows "Case received and Pending". I wish it should stay like that until the interview is over, so that no confusion with K-3. :star:

BTW, I need an expert advice - should I inform anybody (VSC, NVC or U.S Consulate) in writing to invalidate the pending I-129F ???

Sarah, when are you showing us your happy face here? :star::star::star: I want to see that before my vacation starts :star:

Do not want to sound stupid but hearing a lot about touches??? I have email notification and only received a notice of a RFE they wanted. Are touches different or what? Does it show on the website for the application at USCIS? Thanks for the info.

Maybe the lawyer can wait on his last payment till my fiance gets here. I sure he will be patient. Seriously think congressman would help. My lawyer says wait.

cmoncada.........I'm at 302 days so I know how you are feeling. Maybe a bit worse actually.

Your congressman should be able to help to put on some pressure and get some info as to where your case stands.

Mine found out that my case is with an adjudicating officer awaiting a decision. Although I wanted him to force a quick approval, which maybe is impossible, this was more info than anyone has given to me thus far. He is starting the campaign of calling on my behalf each week in hopes that this pressure will push it along. I pray that it works.

Call them if you have not heard from them!!!!!! I have to do this a number of times each week because everytime I've been told that they will call me back they never do. So call! We pay taxes which pay these congressman, and congress gives money to USCIS, so they are there to work for you. I feel bad calling and calling, but its the only way I have found.

Good luck.

Bless

Don't ever feel bad calling these people .... they wouldn't have their job if it wasn't for your vote ..... they owe you!!!!

Personally John, as you've been waiting as long as you have, I'd got straight to the top ..... I'm sure the Bush's could really do with getting your faxes everyday, but, again, they wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for your vote.

Actually, the fact a lot of you have been waiting stupid amounts of time, it astounds me that you haven't all been tying up all the government fax lines .... blanket all of them .... they'll probably just approve you to be able to get a fax from someone else.

Contact everyone and one day you'll find someone who will listen.

I think that hell gates might open first, and end our misery. It's same old going to bed alone every night and getting aroused by thinking about touches from this birocratic monster called USCIS. Well, I admit it, I'm turning into a freak :jest:

This USCIS guys are beating hands down any post WW2 communist regime that blossomed in the Eastern Europe at that time. I believe when they came up with the USCIS operation concept they used Joseph Kafka's "The Process" and "The Castle" as their guidelines.

Yes sir, there is a processing date so you can see where you are in the processing right on our public web site. No, sir, the date hasn't changed for the past three months, well, it did actually, it went BACKWARDS. Have a nice day, is there anything else I can do for you? Thankyouverymuch, you have already done so much for me.

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.

An October 2007 I-130, I-129F filer.

Should've played the Green Card Lottery instead - it's less random and more reliable.
