Hello Everyone,

Maybe if we just say "good" things about VSC maybe our luck will change, our slamming them have not helped. Im going to try to be pisitive and say good things about VSC. I'll start: Um, okay, will post good thing later.

Personally, I think that everyone in VSC should get a medal for all their hard work.

I am so totally in awe of the job they have to do .... it must be awful to go to work everyday, and it doesn't matter how many files you approve, there are always ten more to replace the one you've just finished.

I'm sorry VSC that I didn't put something a little special in my file for you .... it could've gone towards the coffee expenses that I'm sure are very high .... or maybe some nice new state of the art, ergonomic keyboards which would enable you to input the information faster.

I'm also very sorry for taking the piss out of Mr. Paul Novak the Director of VSC and making him look a bit a like a dickhead a couple of weeks back ..... I hope he doesn't think too badly of me, but he did deny my expedite, so I was feeling a little resentful. However, I'm sure he's a really lovely guy, and must be a very attractive and powerful man to be in the position he is in.

I'm also very sorry for rabble rousing on a public US Immigration website and delving into USCIS's little secrets that they want to keep from everyone, and unravelling them. I'm just a curious girl who likes a bit of a challenge, and loves problem solving.

I'm sorry that I accused VSC of employing dyslexics and blind people, but I was a little bored that day and had drunk far too much coffee. However, the blind people fumbling around so they could answer the pnonelines was a little amusing I'm sure you can't deny.

And of course, I'm very sorry that I have called the USCIS system a pile of old #######, and have implied that I could run a better agency. I'm sure I was just getting ahead of myself, and that whoever put the system together was extremely intelligent and thoughtful.

Yeah maybe it was way too easy to just approve it, there is a government mandate that doesn't allow government workers to approve things too easy. U DIDNT KNOW THAT? :)

Hey can you guys give me the number to VSC? I only know the number to the main immigration

customer service line.

:P

Ilya...your signature is mad funny. speaks true to my feelings as well. :)

Im with you Shrewd, and they bad thing is that no one can do anything, even if someone filed their application on Aug 1st nothing can help it. According to USCIS people are not even allowed to make a service request until 30 days after the posted processing times. Congress men can do nothing until you are current or past their processing times either. The most frustrating thing of all is to see so many people after July-Nov. getting approved. Its very good for them and I am glad that things worked out for them but I cant help but feel like my life is always going to be as it is now, I have gone from 155 pounds to 120 in 3 months so its easy to see im not eating anymore, I dont sleep but maybe 3 hours a night no matter how much I drink, and pretty much I have just given up on life. Sad really that im so weak that I let a process control the way I am but that process is my life right now. I really just cant take it anymore, works out better for my wife if she is a widow really, she gets to be near the person she will marry afterwards and no one in her family will look at her funny because she got a divorce.

Shrewdgal, I was having a laugh .... This system is hard for all of us, and I'm just trying to lighten it up.

The approvals are happening and hopefully there will be more this week (it's only monday today) .... you've got a January NOA1, and you know that they are processing those currently as the timeline shows exactly that.

If you don't have your approval by the end of the month then I'll be very surprised.

:(

I understand.

It is really affecting our marriage. I dont know how it will work out. Everyone says stay hopeful..but that only worked for me up until about a month ago. now I just feel out of control and lost.

I tried to PM you back but it says "taht member does not exist"

Strange.

Hang in there. really. I know it sucks..but we dont really have another choice. Im so sorry that you feel that way and even more sorry that I feel that way too.

I'm sorry that you are feeling this down .... please do not let this system get to you like this.

Easier said than done I know, but no it wouldn't be better for your wife to be a widow or get a divorce .... life is going to throw you curveballs and this is just one of them.

There will always be times when life will beat you to your knees .... this just one out of a few times that you will feel at a loss .... the trick is to be able to get back up and face it head on. Never give up!

I agree, I sometimes feel like I can't do this anymore. Working two jobs trying to take care

of our two kids, living with in laws and missing mty husband like crazy. I dont know how

much longer I can hang in there. Everyone says to stay strong and hopeful but it is easier said

than done. I have even thought to myself " Well if we dont make it at least I can bring him here to

be with his kids". I hate that I think like that at times. It just hurts so bad to wait and wait and wait.

Im with you Shrewd, and they bad thing is that no one can do anything, even if someone filed their application on Aug 1st nothing can help it.
