There are no specific reasons why I love him...

My heart just tells me that I do (L)

well stated...i know the feeling

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

i thought this poem might be fitting for some of you on here...

I wrote this poem about two years ago when me and the hubby were still separated by distance...

It's Not Fair

I don't know why it is this way

That My Love lives so far away

I see other couples so very happy

And wonder why that can't be me

With hugs and kisses they show their love

Being able to do that is all I can think of

I do not think it is very fair

Because all I have is words to share

So as this Valentine's Day draws near

I will probably shed a couple tears

And wish I could be with My Love

But as I look up at the stars above

I know one day we will be as happy as can be

Because I will be with him and he will be with me!

That's very good Marilyn!

When I try to get a little inspired to write something about mi amor, I think of the first line of a song written by Kem.

"I think about the day I met.......the perfect stranger".

That's a real powerful line and applicable to everyone that has found their love. At some point, you were the perfect strangers.

What a nice thread :)

I don't know why I love mine..

He once told me that even if we hadnt met when we had that we would have one day in another place and time because it was fate, and he never believed in fate before then or since but that one thing, us being together, he believed was written in the stars.

He makes me feel wonderful, loved and safe and when we're together, even if Im ticked about something, I still have this core contentment deep down..and he makes me smile..and he makes me crazy..and he's part of my soul

before I start: hey Joel! Glad to see you finally get on VJ! :)

Ok, so here's the thing -- I'm no poet, I find it hard to express adequately why I love Jerry so much. His love is something that was a complete surprise from out of nowhere, I wasn't expecting it or longing for it, it was right and I didn't question it for a second -- which is HIGHLY unlike me. I think that's the best part -- it wasn't something I conjured up, it just happened. :)
