Omid is correct in saying if your bringing a man over from Paksitan that you will have to endure long waits. All of us with SO or spouses coming from Pakistan have been on long roads.

Mary

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

hi there

Well I believe thats only me or us I would say because of some personal reasons we couldnt go ahead for a few months. Even our petition went to Islamabad embassy very fast, faster than many of the VJ passangers. When I sent the papers to the embassy it just took totally 4 days to send that intrview letter and date. So we are lucky somehow as far as the speed was concernd so far, Lets see what comes up next as I am getting ready to coup with it.

Thanx and Big Good Lucks to you guys

Regards

Kaiser

First of all Marry I would thanx to you for welcoming me & Salma to the current forum and wishing us good luck. I believe thats true they grind the applications longer than they should especially if the male is the applicant. But I strongly believe that Allah has set time for each n every thing that has to haapen and will happen no matter what. So we must stay focused, together, must accept finite disappointment (if we have to come across, God may not) and must not lose infinite hope. Allah's help is just around the corner. Call and its there. We pray for you guys all the times all the way.

BIG GOOD LUCKS and May Allah the All Mighty help you all the way and keep you together forever...... (F)

Regards

Kaiser

Your welcome and I have to agree with what you said. My husband and I both have said that we will be granted this visa in God/Allah's timing not ours. We are hoping our patience that he has graciously blessed us with will be fruitful with our visa being issued in a week or two. May the remainder of your journey go smoothly.
