Hi guys

Alex, thank you for the kind words about my dress...I fell in love with it. it's nice because the part that looks wavy on the skirt is actually sheer organza...it looks like I'm wearing a cloud :)

Steel - no you cant have you heat back b/c I have none to send you! Its cool and rainy here and Hurricane Kyle is smacking into the maritimes as we speak :P So boo :P

I watched a lot of football while I was down there...really loved it too :D I dont have favorites yet though, havent seen enough action to make a choice :P

TG - congrats on your approval!!

Ana - I think the embassy can RFE for mistakes on the forms I send back ( 156-K and DS230)....I'm hoping that they can read all that I wrote, they dont give enough room for anything!

making my medical appointment on Monday, sending the paperwork out Tuesday...my ring is back from the jeweler, so Bo will be shipping that back to me soon. I'm crossing m fingers that I will get my interview by December, if not November :D

<3 Jen

Yevginey, Yes, everything has to be translated, authenticated, and notarized. Maybe not everything, but better safe than sorry. If she has a good on that she has used in the past, then she is good. Also, from what I have read, if there is a problem with anything, there are some close to the consulate that can get it done in a few minutes. Bad thing about that, high stress, premium price, and a pain in the ###. But if you have an original document, it can get done quickly. I do not know the price. An RFE means that you are missing something or something is not done to specifications. You have made it here without one, so you are probably good using who you have been using with your previous translations.

Jen, I am officially calling this a race for POE. You had a head start, but I hate to lose. Just kidding. I call it the luck of the draw. As for football, make everyone in Raleigh mad, go for Florida, Clemson, or ECU. Don't pick UNC, NCSU, and do not pick Duke, unless it is in basketball. My nephew shot a deer with his bow about 2 miles from the Ale House this morning. Okay, 3 kilometers to put it in your terms. I hope that you liked that. Also, pick a Canadian team for hockey. There are a million Cane's fans that go to the Ale House. The coach for the Hurricanes has a son that plays with one of my sons. He was at practice last night. That surprised me, I thought that they had a game in Philly. I am trying to set up a boar hunt when I go over for the interview. Yes, I am a redneck. Hey, the offer for a beer still stands. I won't even place a bet on this one. My treat. Put some pressure on me though, I thrive on it.

Yevgenij, the list of stuff to be translated, as well as all other info can be found in the packet 3, which you can get here: Packet 3 Ukraine

I gave you a link to Ukr. version to make it easier for you SO :) It also contains all the forms she has to fill in!

Kirk, thanks for the translation offer, but I figured it out. I'm translating it all myself and just having it notarized. Will be much less hassle free and a lot cheaper too :). Oh, and perfectly legal too. Thank goodness I know the language, lol :)

Ana, you speak the language? WOW. Just kidding. You are fluent in pangleski. Iuliia is not. Therefore; I pay. Iuliia did not speak a word of pangleski when I met her. Made for a few interesting first dates. Maybe it is better that she did not understand me. She has been taking English lessons for the past year. Thanks for the offer to help Iuliia out. If I can make it to Kiev for the interview, none will be necessary. If these new accounts for work take up too much time, then it will be helpful. I doubt that will happen, but I will keep you in mind. Who knows, we might meet at the consulate or at Boryspil.

My Tigers lost. Time to see if my sons can play ball.

Nat, let us hear the good news.

Thank you…

You don't have to have the medical before you send in packet 3 Alex. I am having my medical about a week before my interview date.

How is everyone :)

So tomorrow:

mail P3

order police check

make vaccination appointment

make medical appointment

make a photocopy run

Go talk to my boss to get extra shifts

remind Bo to pick up his work letter, bank letter and get his I-134 notarized

run my brother and sister around, as they are lazy and don't have their licences *gah*

Oh yeah, I should sleep at some point too because I'm working a 12 hour backshift tonight LOL....

good to hear from you Gordon, I hope those long hours arent taking away too much of the excitment

Steel: Well I have to like Canadian hockey teams...I think it would be almost sacriligious not to :P Bo is a California football fan (his home state), so I'm sure that's who I'll be cheering for :) maybe I'll get lucky and catch some CFL games online after I move...Us canadians can play football pretty good :)
