Thanks Morre. I got in touch with them too. And it seems like their prices for airfreight are reasonable. I thought to go by oceanfreight (because it's cheaper), but they have minimum volumes, and mine is only 1/2 to 1/3 of that and prices go up to 2000 without insurance, just from a port here to the port in the US.

Oh I've been ready for a month ... lol. He already sent me his stuff in August (including the affidavit ...) and he just sent me his most recent paymentstubs ...

And everything else is done too since most papers are valid for a couple of months here. I can't wait to reach the next level in the game ...

Sounds like it's a time to start a Broke far Broke club... November one-way ticket from Ukraine runs for $1,500 At least you guys can get a decent shipment company in Europe, not so much here. Luckily Dave already moved one suitcase for me during his last return trip.

Sandra, check out Orbitz, Expedia and Kayak. Those are the ones I've used before and got some pretty good deals ($365 one-way New York - Kiev last December). Just play around with dates to get a cheepest price.

So glad to see you guys getting closer to the US

I don’t know how it is in Belgium, but here in Sweden you can pay a fee and you get insurance true your company that will cover any expenses if you would have a car accident etc… if you would have to visit a doctor in America you will not pay anything at all, just show them the paper from your insurance company!

I don't think we have something like that. When you leave here, you have to go to the cityhall to give notice you're moving (international), and unsubscribe your social security. Don't think there's a possibility to take any insurance with you for a year after leaving the country.

Oh, thought I'll share our USCIS calling experience with you guys. So, we decided to talk to them last night and... like I predicted: "We received your 129(F)... (word for word from the website) and than they told us "USCIS still has 112 days to provide you with answer... "

I can't find a link to edit my timeline... She took it very well, couldn't fall asleep till 3. Woke up and went online to find info for her next step...

My future mother-in-law and I went dress shopping to see if I could get some more ideas, and I actually BOUGHT my dress tonite I'm so in love with it, and as soon as I figure out how to post pics on the forum, I will show you guys

This just makes it all the more real...His mom brought us a bottle of champagne to share on my last night here, and I'm not crying about going home...It's almost like my trip 'home' will be a vacation for a couple months, and I will be truely home very soon <3
