Hi Alex, glad to see things moving for you :)!!! I'm just patiently waiting for the Monday to roll in so we can start looking out for the mailman again, lol. Also trying to get back into working mood after the vacation. Is kinda hard :innocent: I bet Nat can relate :)

Jenni, I seriously think you deserve to get lucky and make it "home" by Thanksgiving!!!! I mean, somebody has to cook Bo the perfect turkey (you do know how to do that, right ;)?)

Thanks for the support guys :) YOu did say I would be here for the Holifays Alex, and it's looking a little more possible all the time!

Ana, that is a very sweet thing to say. I think I'm hoping for your approval as much as I'm hoping for a fast interview! You've been more patient than me 10 times over! I can cook a turkey, lets just hope my first one for my husband will be the best :)

Tarantula - I have half the stuff done on my end. My time-taker will be getting my medical interview and travelling for it. I wonder how much of a wait it will be? my police check should only take 3-5 days. Bo's stuff shouldnt take too long. I'm going to write him out a to-do list because I dont think the 1-134 will get here before I have to leave Thursday. We shall see :D

Melzy- My touch was my approval, but like Tarantula said, there have been problems with the updating system online too...so more important than anything is for yas to keep an eye on the mailbox :)

Good luck Jenni! I bet your turkey will be the best he'll ever had ... ^_^

May I ask you something about form DS-156? What did you write in box 22 When do you intend to arrive in the US? I was looking at it and thought to put 25th of october there or just plain write october 2008 ... because a specific date is kind of hard to tell as long as there is no interview date set eh? Maybe it's a stupid question afterall  Those forms could be so much clearer ...

LOL!!

That sounds about right though, they may get suspisous if we have a date already....thats what I always tell the customs people

CO: when are you getting married

Me: when i get the visa

CO: You don't have a date? when are you planning to get the visa

Me: ...when it's approved?

CO: when do you plan to move

Me: (trying not to rollmy eyes) when I have the approved visa in my hand and am legally able to marry

CO: Well...DOn't stay down there, you will screw things up for yourself

Me: (biting my tongue) yes sir.....

So I just answer "when I receive the Visa" to everything now!

Jenni thank you so much for the support. And for that matter, thanks to everyone here! You guys are amazing and it helps a lot to know that there is a little crowed holding fingers for Dave and I :innocent: .

I actually promised Dave to try and be there for Thanksgiving to make the turkey, since last year we had chicken, lol :). Oh, and that POE entry dialog made my evening, so thanks for sharing

Sandra, so are you almost done with all the papers? Are they really particular with the interview in Belgium? Cause as I gathered, Ukraine is a piece of cake as long as you have all the papers and they are neatly organized. I def. hope it is indeed so.

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend! I havn't seen my girl in over a year, was in ukraine September of 2007. Is it any concern when she goes to embassy? will they be like, "you guys havn't seen each other in over a year" Or it doesn't matter? Thanks

Ana, I have all my paperwork ready. The doc where I went, is on holiday next week, so I had my medical done already. The package from NVC is going to be delivered at the Embassy today. I tried to get in contact with a person at the Embassy, because I have just a few questions, but they put me through to the pay-line, which I called last week and was not satisfactory. So I mailed them again today.

Mel, the NOA2 hardcopy will be sent to the petitioner (in the US).

Yevgeniy, I believe it's to have met in person in the last 2 years. Not sure, I'll have to look it up myself.

Have a great week all and hopefully we can celebrate some more approvals! :star:

Mel, hope u are in for an approval with that touch

Yevgenij, I think you guys should be fine, as long as she presents lots of evidence of ongoing relationship - emails, chats, phone bills, etc. So, do you think it is our week?

Sandra, hope you get the reply soon. Time to set up interviews! Can only imagine how exciting it is!
