Texn, You might want to stretch so you don't pull something. Got married Catholic first time. It kinda of goes like this. Stand up, sit down, kneel, stand up, repeat this process about 10 times. A wedding video kinda of looks like an exercise tape.

Jen, Hope your feeling better today. It took me two Gatoraides to rehydrate and feel politically correct. There were five of my friends at the Ale House. I really did not have to do much work today so I was good. I did have to drive to Richmond and back to attend a funeral of one of my good customers up there. Had to get a little of the hair of the dog that bit me with some of his boys. Not a festive mood.

Ana, I will buy you a pevo, Nemiroff, or Stolichveta. Nyet Jaeger.

Glad to still see some movement. Got my hard copy also.

Guess what!!! I am having a Catholic wedding and I am not even Catholic. Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!

They don't do anything stupid do they?:dance::dance:

I kind of meant like flashing or that stuff because I am fine with that.

Nothing crazy to expect in a Catholic wedding - I'm sure you'll do just fine! Congratulations!

Congratulations to all the people who have received their NOA2s recently, it is wonderful news.

I got a RFE earlier this week. I can't tell if I'm depressed or happy because our application finally made it to the top of the pile! Should I be worried? Any ideas about what to expect? Is there a cost to having to re-submit or send in additional information for the RFEs? Are RFEs typically sent because of errors made on the application or because the government is questioning the legitamacy of the application?

I'm just need to mentally prepare myself for the envelope on Monday!

Thanks - Laura

Kirk, congrats on the hard copy :) Now make lots of copies and hide it somewhere safe :)

Hi, Laura, there is no fee involved in sending RFE back (except for postal :)). And like was mentioned, it shouldn't be anything major, so don't stress too much.

Alex, hi girl! How are things in Sweden???

Morre, join the club. And the worst thing - there's nothing we can do! Just sit tight and hope our good luck comes out of it's hiding place

I really hope so Ana. (F)

I have a question ... I asked Alex the same thing in a pm already. What is considered to be your 'middle name'? My name is Sandra and then I have 2 baptizing names Hendrika Jozef(my godmother's and godfather's first name). Should I write down only the first name on my forms or just fill in the two names. To be honest I have no clue what I put on the g325 forms, I probably just left them off. (I don't have a copy of those forms :blush: ) We don't speak of those names being 'middle names'.

I also had my medical already done, because the doc where I had my examination is going on holiday in a couple of days... Should I send those results already with the packet 3, or just check it off on the checklist and not mention it yet? (I was as healthy as a fish btw, and had my blood tested in advance ... x rays on the same day as doc appointment, so that went really smooth, thanks to the advice of D, another Belgian girl that recently got married in the States!)

I checked DHL yesterdaynoon and there was a package on it's way to Brussels (sent by US gov containing embassy papers) ... and Greg found this confirmation in his mailbox shortly after I checked. Now all I can hope is for everything to run smooth and get an interviewdate very soon.

:)

Sandra, hope u'll get your interview really soon  As to the name issue... Here in Ukraine we have smth called "patronimic" (like extended version of fathers name added to the kid's name). I generally skipped it in my visa applications. What does your international passport have in it? I would say use the name as it is in your passport. And medical... well, if they are not asking for it, don't send it. Better keep it safe so it makes it ok to that big envelope u'll get to surrender at POE.

Thanks Ana. My international passport has Sandra H. J. on there ... so I'll just put both of em under middle name ... lol If they only need one, they'll only take the first one...

slight amount of hope gained today...looks like a CDN filer got their interview date 15 days after filing their packet 3 info..I'm not sure how likely that will be for me, but it's a small chance I could get here before my birthday in January :)

I should be getting my packet three at the beginning of Oct, so I guess I'll wait and see :)

Ana and Morre, hang in there! Maybe your adjudicator just is a little lazy :)

tarantula - Keep us up to date about when you may get the interview!

Gordon - Good to hear from you! Sorry that you have to work so much, but I'm sure it wont be too much longer for you :)

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I called home today to wish my Dad a happy 50th birthday, and they said there was a big package from the US Consulate in Montreal in the mail today :)

They opened it, and it as my Packet 3 :) They are going to send Bo's I-134 in the mail Monday, and I will be getting my police check when I home and, hopefully, not having to wait to long to get into my medical (I have to travel to the next province to get it done :P). If we can get everything done in the next 2 weeks, there is a possibility I could have my interview by November! I will accept it if I can't, but it's a nice thought :)

LOL NVC totally lied about my packet being sent out on the 17th though. Mom said the letter in packet 3 is dated the 11th :P

Let me know when youall get yours!!
