So, what did you guys obsess about today? Visa, maybe. I checked everyone ahead of me on Igor's list. We can all consider ourselves moved up quite a few slots! Here is what I found ahead of me (We're at 102 now).

#2 Duplicate

#5 Approved 4/7 according to post but didn't update timeline

#25 Approved 3/27 updated timeline but for some reason not showing in the list.

#50 Approved 7/4 according to post

#54 Asking whether his recent discovery that "fiance" has been living with boyfriend for the last 10 years should cause him concern. Advice seems pretty unanimous that he should seriously consider withdrawing petition. He's on the fence but pretty discouraged. God, I hate to read these things.

#75 Duplicate

So that is 6 that everyone past 75 can move themselves up, 7 if poor Mr. 54 withdraws

well seen as we are on the california list and thats over 310 long and we are at number 197 (we were 194 last nite )

Hannah, I think we'd all bump up a bit if everyone updated their profiles...there's approx 13 January and February filers who haven't updated since February.

Well, what I left out was that many of the people at the top of the list who are the January/February filers, have posted recently about RFEs for some pretty significant issues (like drug related convictions, accidentally checked they were related,etc)

So except for 2 and 5, the top 13 do appear to be waiting. There could be a few more though that just haven't updated!

plus amy and derek duplicated theirs. however you would be suprise how many jan and feb filers there seems to be left. especially as you see the ammount of feb filers approved recently. seems to be a 50 50 mix of feb and march.

Yeah, I'd agree...though I'd be hesitant to count anyone who hasn't updated their profile since they posted their NOA1...

but Igor isn't 100% but it's a great tool to see how progression is going! Yay for moving up!

there are infact 6 duplicates total ahead of us (me and vito) so we can def put ourselves up six on the visa chain. so instead of 197 we should be 191 cool beans!

Joe, thanks for little "investigation" into Igor's!

Alex, I did a timeline search for K1 issued in Sweden in the past year and a half and it looks that average wait from NOA2 to interview date is 65-80 days. Can't really say it's a good prediction, since there were not that many couples.

Wow thanks dairyfarmer for looking me up on the list....i am the straggler in the group looks like...lol Oh well, I am not prepared for the stress of part two (NOA2) anyway...I am still recovering from the 1st step....although at the same time I want this to hurry.

So your from Australia dairyfarmer? I am in Arizona...very warm and monsoons-gorgeous!

I know what you mean about the stress. I just started looking up the AOS stuff and am feeling overwhelmed.

And yes I'm from Australia (Melbourne actually) but I'm based in Edinburgh, Scotland at the moment. Going to start commuting to Coventry as of next week.

Yes, it's definitely just a tool and we don't know what percentage of total applications are registered with VJ. That percentage could vary month to month and that could make the process appear to slow down and speed up, even if it is chugging along at a steady pace.

I think the main usefulness of the list is to occupy my mind while I wait.

At this point, that is a really important purpose! Anything to keep my mind off missing someone special.
