Happy 4th to all!

I know it's very frustrating looking at the lack of approvals coming out of either center and the lists and timelines are great for reference but I think we must always keep in mind that we at VJ are a VERY small percentage of actual filers.

I'm not sure it will help you at all but on a week like this, what helps keep me going is the thought that there is likely hundreds and hundreds of people who were actually approved and seeing all the approved petitions make their way to the Consulates all over the world (fed ex) is proof of that. Perspective is important right now for sanity's sake! ;)

Good afternoon all. Anyone got good news yet lol? What a slow 4 weeks it has been. Still, August is coming and surely a few May filers will get there NOA2.

My timeline seems to be getting further and further away. Hope it isn't true.

Morning Everyone,

Quiet here, the weather is finally warm, so that is a plus. I hope this is a good week. I just keep telling myself that since last week was a holiday week in the US, that the workers weren't putting as much effort in, and hopefully they will step up this week :)

William: I know the feeling about the timeline moving further away. It used to say the end of July, now it's saying the middle of August...we can just keep our fingers crossed I guess :)

How is everyone else?

So quiet around here lately.

Good morning/afternoon

How are you this morning? How are things going for you?

Just got home, after spending 10 hours at the hospital with my brother and he’s girlfriend, waiting for a baby that doesn’t want to come out! I’m exhausted and traumatized shocked019.gif!

So happy to see the april filers getting approved , but the timelines are just awful cry.gif!

Its morning here now 10:50am. I'm surviving, John and I had a bad couple of weeks. Its just so hard being apart. I've been watching the lists and we are about to break 250 if there are 2 more approvals this week.

Work is boring I have nothing to do and that just gives me time to think. Not the best, but I'm fueled by caffiene, bacon and an adrenalin rush from a gym workout.

How are you?

Funny the name of my boyfriend is Jonathan but I call him john!

John and I have being arguing for two days now, and its really sad! What I tried to tell him yesterday was that the main reason that we are arguing this much, is because of the distance between us!

I think that having a relationship (like most of us here) , based on phone calls, msn, skype etc… can make u so frustrated sometimes, because really when you see your love on the other side of the computer sad and lonely, you just wish that you could feel your love in your arms instead of just seating on the other side of the world!

Exactly!!! We have found there is often an issue which needs to be resolved, but it would never have blown out of proportion the way it has if we were together. Being able to read eachothers body language and see eachother.

And what is the worst is we make up, but don't get the makeup............

My John is just a John. But my sister has just got engaged to a Jonathon, thank goodness his nickname is Jona.

If someone works for the USCIS and they ware going true what we are going true, they would have a whole deferent point of view of treating people.

We will have a happy ending!
