Hi everyone,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi and such -

Alex, Yev and Ana: Im glad everyone made it over alright. Hope to see pics of the weddings

Sandra - Congrats on the wedding. I'm sure it was wonderful. :)

Nat - I'm glad that you got your interview date! At least you know when it is, even if it is a bit of a wait

Gordon - I hope your interview went smoothly today. I'm sure you won't have any troubles. I'm sure Lara is excited :)

Congrats on the new approvals lately as well. I'm glad to see everyone is pretty much past the longest wait now.

No news here - no date or anything. We've been calling DoS once a week. Bo also won't be able to come up to fly down with me. He can't get the time off work.

I'm working pretty much all Christmas, so it's been hard. I've been having trouble trying to keep my head up, but it'll happen when it happens I guess.

Take care everyone, I'm glad to see everyone so happy.

<3 Jen

Hi Rocks!!

How are things on your side!! Have you received the PKT 4 yet?

i'm ok thanks, aside from being sick. i hope it doesn't interfere with my medical next week.

i haven't had packet 4 yet, my man called the dos yesterday but no news. i hope that it will come soon but i know now that i won't be there before christmas.

i hope everything is going well with you? the weather in the south seems to be very erratic at the moment, it's warmer here ironically! are you planning on getting married inside?

i know how you feel, even though you have been waiting a bit longer than me. ;) stay positive, all the waiting will pay off in the end. i hope that you hear something soon. (F)

Thanks hun, waiting sucks..I just hope it's not later than January - both our birthdays are that month and it would be heartbreaking not to have news for at least one of them after not being together for Christmas.

the thanksgiving and christmas thing really sucks, there's always next year though. ;) i see from timelines that the average wait is 113 days for the interview at montreal, that's such a long time, i really feel for you. i hope you hear something before christmas is over!

Same here...no news. But our hell is pretty much over, I hope. Have seen eachother 4 days since July, but I'm leaving on Friday to spend 9 days in Canada, and then I'll turn around and spend 10 days over Christmas. If we don't have an interview date by then, I'll just give up and illegally defect.

Sandra and Greg, and the rest of you with good news, c-o-n-g-r-a-t-u-l-a-t-i-o-n-s from both Chantal and I. Hope you're new life is starting out even better than you thought.

Bye for now my friends.

Hi all, hope everyone is well. Just to let you know I was granted the visa at the London Embassy. The worst part was the waiting but the interview was very easy. Looks like me and Lara will have our first Xmas together.

aww that sucks. i know it's not much but at least now you'll have a better idea of how long you'll have to wait. remember that once the long wait is over you'll have the rest of your lives together. the same goes for you RyanandChantal08 :)
