My dear May folks,

Sorry for keeping you in the dark for so long - was having PC troubles :). Anyway, I passed my pretty much non-eventful interview on Nov. 7th and should be flying down to ol' good USA this Monday :). I'm a little worried about getting my visa as today FedEx has only 2 days left to get it to me so I can make my flight, so please send some good vibes that way for me :)

CONGRATS to all the approvals Ive missed and best of luck at the interviews!!!

My darling girls, Sandra and Alex, I am so happy to know that you two made it down safely!!!!! Many hugs!!!

Congratulations Ana , finally you'll be with your man ... And good vibes are sent!!! :star:

Congrats on all you other people moving in the process!! You guys that are still waiting, stay strong!

We got our marriage license last week Friday, and tomorrow is our date with the judge ... yes I do's and rings will be exchanged :yes: Our party will have to wait till spring, we still need to make concrete plans for that! No need to say I'm over-excited right now!

About forms ..DS-230, DS-156 & DS-156K.....should be typed in UPPER CASE (capital latering) or Title Case ? is ok ..I don't know :blush:

Is that any matter ? or Have to have in UPPER CASE : :unsure: : ..caz

I m having problem... :innocent: can't fit all info in provided box if its upper case.

i didn't do mine in upper case, it doesn't request it so it is probably safe to assume that you don't need to.

CRIS System Scheduled Outage

November 13, 2008 - The CRIS System will be unavailable from 9:30 PM EST, Thursday November 13 until about 1:30 AM EST, Friday November 14 for maintenance. The CRIS System includes Case Status Online, Change of Address Online, Civil Surgeon Locator and Field Office Locator.

Hi Everyone ! I hope you are still here. I know most of you are pretty busy with preparation for the trip or the wedding. :star: I hope everyone is doing well.

My news , yesterday we called DOS and were told the interview date, January 13, Tuesday. :thumbs: I have to wait another 2 months though. Anyway it's good to know it's scheduled at least. Today I have checked up the Embassy website, and yes I saw our case number and the interview date is correct. I hope I will get the invitation letter from Embassy soon!!

Nat, congrats on getting the interview date! Wish it was sooner, but it is surely nice to know the date!!!! I'll be sure to write you a detailed PM about my experience once I get more time!

My oh my, what a stressful two days I've just had. I serioulsy doubted I'll be making my Monday morning flight since as of Thursday night embassy still didn't have my visa printed. In fact, we've heard that it was done with only around 4 pm today. My sis had only two hours to rush to FedEx office in order to pick it up. What can I say, she's a total star for making it in time! :star: Anyway, see you on the other side of the globe next week, lol :)

We got married last Thursday. A short ceremony, but nicely put together by the judge. Everything here is going pretty well. After 2 weeks here we're going to the local office here for a SSN, and then we're going to bow ourselves over the AOS.

I got an EAD stamp at JFK, and the expiry date is 11-03-2009 ... hmmm what does that mean? For what I read here I still have to apply for EAD along with the AOS. We're also going to the DMV when I have the SSN. Pfft, paperwork paperwork ... it never really stops eh? :D
