Yay :) congrats Nat!! I'm so happy and relieved you got your approval :)

Also congrats on a speedy interview Tinyrose. Each consulate is different in questions and length of interview, but mostly the questions will centre around your relationship with your SO - how you met, proof of the ongoing relationship etc. Don't be nervous :) I'm sure you'll do great.

Emailed Montreal again today...maybe they'll reply this time *sigh* Lets hope eh? Thanks for the well wishes Kirk..I know that you guys will win this race, maybe it will be closer with the AOS.

Off to Halifax in an hour...medical is tomorrow at 11:10am...I'll let you guys know how much I was poked and prodded :P

i'm sure this has been asked a billion times, so sorry in advance

our petition is at the nvc, we have a ldn reference number. now we have to wait for it to arrive in london. i'm here in ms for another week, what do i need from here in the states? i'd rather get this stuff now and avoid having to pay to mail it later ;)

i know i need his tax returns for three years, pay stubs (6 months?), employment letter, photocopy of his passport stamp. do we both need a notarized letter of intent, or is it just him? am i missing anything else? i'm so overwhelmed! :)

Hello Everybody!

May I join to your discussion? :star:

I have call to Embassy today, but anything new! :crying:

Girl told that call center didn't receive new number of cases. She told me that usually they receive numbers once

at week on Friday! So the best time to call then it is Friday afternoon or Monday. I received from Consulate e-mail yesterday, where they wrote that my case has been received by this office and Information Packet has also been mailed to my address by the regular mail on October 9, 2008. I haven't receive this Packet yet.

I hope my information will help.

Good luck. :star:

Hey everyone!

Congrats to all who have been approved, etc...

I've been gone for a little while - visiting Vasya, my fiance, in Russia and have just returned home to the USA...

Our case has not had any updates/touches since Aug. 25! Should I call USCIS? What do you all suggest? What's the number and does anyone have any tips on what to say when/if i call???Has anyone else not been approved or have not been touched yet?

I am sooo worried and starting to become extremely frustrated! I was hoping we could be together by Christmas/New Years... :crying:

Thanks so much you guys! And the best of luck to everyone! :star: :star: :star:

As of:

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!

At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!

Jen, I hope that all goes well. Usually, most people enjoy getting poked and prodded, but not by someone in a white lab-coat and a stethescope around their neck. It is better by you SO. Yes, I am not right.

Ana and Yevginey, No news for interiew yet. Just answered a PM from someone with your dates, and they have nothing yet. They were from CSC which takes longer to get to NVC.

Nat, Thanks for the e-mail. I will send you a private answer, but THANK YOU.

Now, I am feeling guilty because things are falling in place for me and Iuliia and others are left hanging. I am a team player, but I will not trade places.

Hi guys,

First of all, many many congrats to Nat & Jack!!!! Finally!!!:dance::dance:

Yevgenij, we are not in the system either. Am getting a bit frustrated by this slow down in Kiev. We'll see what next week brings.

Jenni, how was the medical?

Rocks, you seem to be fine with your list :). Except you also need W2s to go with the tax returns (or tax transcripts) I'm not sure about having the letter of intent notarized. Is it smth required for your specific embassy? Just signed is fine for us, Ukrainians ;)

Tinyrosie, congrats on the interview. They prolly will ask you about how you two met, your relationship, visits, etc. Good luck!!!!

Anka, I understand the frustration. At this point if you call USCIS they'll just read you the nonsence off the scree (trust me, we did it :)) and just say to call back when u've been waiting for six months. Urggg.... Just be strong, that approval should arrive any day now.

Alya, privet :). In all honesty you confused me a little :). So, embassy says they have your case and even sent you a packet last week, when call center doesn't? Is it some weird mis-communication within the embassy? CAuse for them to mail you a packet they have to have u in the system. Anyway, wouldn't trust Ukr. mail, lol. Get the packet off the Kiev embassy website and get going girl :)

Ana! Thank You!! :star:

I am having a quiet day. We haven't received hardcopy yet, I guess it should be in the mailbox next week. What kind of information do they give in NVC? Do they ask case number and give a new one?

Hope you get your interview date soon! :star::star::star:

Anna! Thanks! :star: I am sure you will get your approval soon too. :star::star::star: We called USCIS last week and just listened to answermachine, because they don't give any extra information. Try to think positive and check the website. Our last update was on July 9th, and then they updated it on October 14th. It took 144 days. Don't worry much, though I understand it's difficult.

So you have been in St-Petersburg lately?
