Hello and thanks Ana, I wasn't sure if that would work but October 2008 it will be ... If it doesn't work, I'm just going to put the 25th ... :innocent:

So Dave is calling the NVC again today? Well the info they give is vague too. At least you will know if they received your file, but they're not telling you when they're sending it out, it might take up to a week (that's what they told Greg then). Good luck!!! :star:

U're welcome, dear. Yep, he's calling again. Thanks for sharing the knowledge about NVC! I just really need them to tell me when it's mailed out to the embassy. This having no Packet 3 thing requires me to harress the embassy for the interview date. We literally have to call them the moment petition is received to make sure they input it into their system ASAP so I can call the payline to get my interview spot. And then we wait again...

Morning, Alex. How are you doing today?

Morning, Alex. How are you doing today?

Greg received a letter, the day after they sent the file to Brussels, that stated that action.

I'm bumming ... I was out on my lunchbreak and it rained like hell ... my phone must have rang but didn't hear it. Unknown number, could be the Embassy returning my questions I mailed.:o

Ryan,

get Chantel to email or facebook me...my MSN has had a virus and I can't use it anymore.

email is jennistairs@gmail.com, or she can look me up on facebook if she has it.

Tell her though, while she's waiting for her P3 to order her "long birth certificate", which is the full one that you order from the province. It costs about 35-40$ and takes about a 7-10 business days to recieve Also, she can order her police check now too. I did it through my city police and it cost 30$.

Hope to hear from her soon!

<3 Jen

Thank you very much. I gave her your email addy.

Thanks Ana, I made Greg call the NVC again just now, and apparently it didn't go with that DHLshipment and it didn't leave NVC ... I can't describe how I feel, I'm really p*ssed off ... problem is that they don't tell you when it's going to leave there ...

I'm trying to remain calm, and I feel calmer now after ranting and venting to my best friend and to Greg ... (sorry guys) I just hate the thought of having to go beg with the Embassy for an interview-date close to when they will receive the file ... I have this kind of superior beings fear  (to deal with official instances) And Kim reminded me she and Russ went through the same ... But still ... grrrrrrrrrrrrr! ;)

I'm so sorry to hear that Sandra!! Im sure it will leave soon. I know a few people in the APril thread had theirs held up at NVC as well (Kim and Russ).

I am hoping that I can print out another DS-156K, but I want to wait and hear from Montreal. The person that did the review on here for Montreal said that MTL is very particular about using the forms they have sent, so I'll wait and see. Thanks Ana, I will let you know if I need the form!

I'm nervous that I've forgotten things on my forms. I guess the worst they can do is RFE me....*sigh*

I thought I would be confident after I sent that away...now I'm more stressed than before...

ANyway :) I should go catch up on laundry...start looking at wedding stuff. Looks like we're going to try and have the 'big' wedding back in Halifax (my hometown) in the summer (all depending on when I get down to the US in the first place).

Am I talkative tonight or what? Actually need some input. We just talked to NVC again and looks like they've forwarded our case to Kiev, Ukraine on Sep. 30 (well, hope they indeed did). I tried DHL tracking and there was a shipment to Ukraine under reference EX 30 SEP 2008A and that one went out on Oct. 1 and is in Germany right now. Can it be our file?

Sandra, any news on your case? I feel so guilty that we are out of NVC while you guys are stuck in there :crying:
