The following numbers are taken from the VJ timelines with a little help from Igor's list.

I've only done upto the USCIS processing dates for VSC, November 17th.

November = 26 Filers; 24 with NOA2 (92%), 1 with no accessible profile and 1 who hasn't been online since 7th November.

December = 62 Filers; 59 with NOA2 (95%), 1 with RFE pending, 1 waiting on NOA2 and 1 who hasn't been online since 3rd February.

January = 81 filers; 80 with NOA2 (99%) and 1 who hasn't been online since 23rd January.

February = 99 filers; 87 with NOA2 (88%), 5 with RFE pending, 2 waiting on NOA2 and 5 who haven't been online since May.

March = 79 filers; 45 with NOA2 (57%), 1 RFE pending and 33 waiting on NOA2.

April = 55 filers; 1 with NOA2 (2%) and 54 waiting on NOA2.

May = 31 filers; 31 waiting on NOA2.

So that puts Megan and I at position 63 instead of 90 like we are on Igor's list.

I'm a bit surprised at the stats there. Only 31 filers for May and 26 for November. I was expecting alot of filers for the month of May. Then again VJ is only a small fish in the pond.

I've been counting the CSC may filers my self and last night we were at fourty and thats going by noa1 dates and for those yet to recieve noa1 i'm using the sent date. since then i see there are at least two or three extra. If you look at the csc jan thread and blakes ever changing noa2/waiting list its more than sixty. i get the impression that there are a lot more under csc than vermont, well in this little drop from the ocean at least.

hope everyone here in this thread is doing well! :thumbs:

We understand the circumstances that bring about applications to USCIS. Many are urgent, which is reflected in our processing times.

We also have a premium processing program that lets you judge your own circumstances and decide if you want to pay for faster processing. We know that circumstances can change, so this program is available even after you file.

*

At this time, this program is only available for the Form I-129.

o

You may find additional information on our website under premium processing.

For all other kinds of cases, customers who file the same kind of application are usually in similar circumstances and often have similar needs to have their case processed quickly. We understand the effects our processing times can have on customers, and we are working hard to shorten processing time. It would not be appropriate for us to give preferential treatment to one customer over another, and disadvantage you or others by delaying one case to first process another that was filed later. Therefore, no matter how short or long the normal processing time, we normally process cases in order based on when they were received.

However, we recognize that truly extraordinary things can happen. Even when "Premium Processing" is not available, we will consider taking a case out of order if there is a life or death emergency, or some other exceptional emergent need, if our processing the case out of order will have a direct effect on the situation. To be fair to everyone, we are very restrictive in granting this kind of preferential treatment, in part because it means other customers have to wait longer. By definition, most kinds of applications and petitions rarely, if ever, merit this kind of preferential treatment. But if you believe such a situation exists when you file a case, or develops while your case is pending, call customer service for information about how to request accelerated processing, and about what documents and evidence you will have to submit to show that an exceptional emergency exists.

Examples of the criteria for making a request for expedited processing can be seen on the USCIS Expedite Criteria page, which you can link to under “Relevant Links.”

Now imagine if we all could simply pay a fee and have the process expedited :). There prolly would be a backlog of such expedites, cause, man, I would take two more jobs to cover whatever fee they might charge just to be closer to my baby!

So, how is everybody doing this Tuesday? It's finally summer in full bloom here in Ukraine, so I'm about to get off my laptop and go see the world behind my window. Gotta keep myself busy.

Actually, just found smth to do while we wait for the approval. Will have to go and get all my certificates for the embassy. People, wish me luck with Ukrainian burecracy. For somebody who recently came back from the States, I'm on course for a major culture shock :).

*mental note - do not quickly search and paste first result that comes up*

Bah, I say the one you showed KimandRuss, but pasted the other one! But yes, That's the right of it.

A co-worker of mine went to our congressman and pleaded his case to him, and got his wife's petition approved within two weeks...While I am taking the moral high ground on this one, the thought is oh so tempting....

*sigh*

But alas, really the current time frame works for Sarah and I with planning, so we wait....

Hi May Filers

For anyone wondering about expedites - Sarah Jayne has recently had some success with a military expedite but in doing so has gained a lot of knowledge about the whole system here are Sarah Jayne's Tips I don't think anyone should feel like not applying for an expedite is taking the moral high ground - if you fit into the criteria then you are why expedites exist. Getting representative involved is never a bad thing either, even if they write back to you and say sorry there is nothing we can do, if all of us did it then at least those people who are in a position to make a difference would be aware of how screwed up the system is. Successful expedite cases are few and far between on VJ but we don't really know what the figures are for all visa filers. Maybe the fact that expedites are a bit of a taboo around here has been putting people off applying and thats why the success rate seems so slow?? Just a few thoughts on the matter.

I hope everyone is doing well.

November = 26 Filers; 24 with NOA2 (92%), 1 with no accessible profile and 1 who hasn't been online since 7th November.

December = 62 Filers; 59 with NOA2 (95%), 1 with RFE pending, 1 waiting on NOA2 and 1 who hasn't been online since 3rd February.

January = 81 filers; 80 with NOA2 (99%) and 1 who hasn't been online since 23rd January.

February = 99 filers; 87 with NOA2 (88%), 5 with RFE pending, 2 waiting on NOA2 and 5 who haven't been online since May.

March = 81 filers; 46 with NOA2 (57%), 1 RFE pending and 34 waiting on NOA2.

April = 67 filers; 1 with NOA2 (2%) and 54 waiting. The 1 approval was an expedite though.

May = 34 filers; everyone still waiting at the moment.

Hopefully this will keep everyone's spirits up, although there hasn't been any change on Igor's list this week.......YET!!!

Going to PM the filers from right back to November who haven't been online for a while in the hope it generates and email to them telling them they have a PM so they can come along and update their timelines and move us down the list!!!!!
