Non-American babies are trendy now because of celebrity adoptions?

Well, that might be, but American couples who want to adopt have been adopting foreign born children for a long time. I have friends with two children who were born in India - one is in eighth grade and the other fifth. The parents chose this route rather than American born for several reasons, not the least of which was the fact that foreign born mothers don't try to come back and reclaim the child.

And there really is a shortage of American babies. It's no longer scandalous to keep and raise a 'love child', and more unwanted pregnancies end in abortion than adoption.

O.K., back to post # 14 in the Armando thread (or just refer to the P.M.). Want a flame war on every post? Got it. I will add that it takes a real lowlife to come into a thread about foreign adoptions to exact a personal vendetta. That is the only reason you posted here and you know it.

Irony that the only one bringing up another thread is you, not me. For me to be bitter and have a 'vendetta', you'd have to matter to me, which you don't. So seriously get over it and try to move on, yeah?

If you'd like to continue this ankle biting, go right ahead. But I'm not going to get into some ridiculous argument with you because you can't seem to deal well with a difference of opinion. I cannot sit here, though, silent while you say things like 'look honey i'm married, ok?' because that's well out of line and completely OTT.

I posted on this thread cos it was interesting to me. It irritates me that non-American babies are 'trendy' now because of celebs. As I said in my first post here, there are plenty of American babies needing families!

Trust me, I know my motives better than you do!
