LOTO has been SUPER helpful, and thanks to his advice, I'm nearly done w/ the NVC process!

To take some of the heat and responsibility off LOTO, I'm happy to advise regarding the online payment process to help people out :)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Hello rajee

My 3032 is on the way to my wife and the aos bill has been generated. I was going to just wait for the the bill to arrive and pay it online. I figure it should arrive soon. Am I wrong? Also, what do you suggest: should we email the 3032 or mail it. I have 3032 here in the states and my wife has signed it. I dont feel comfortable making a barcode.

Rickie

Hey :) The way I went about both of those things was purely electronically ... I would suggest emailing the DS-3032 information to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov (caps not required). There is a template on the wiki here at VJ for choice of agent email :)

"

Regarding the AOS - if the bill is invoiced online and you can see it, that implies you have your IIN ... If so, go ahead and pay it with your bank account information and have the receipt emailed to both of you (that's what I did) ... you can also print out the receipt instantly. It will say "IN PROCESS" for about 2 business days, and then go to a status of "PAID". Once this happens, you will have the option on the online payment site to print out the coversheet - this includes the much alluded to barcode that you have to send with your paperwork ... There is no need to "make" your own barcode, as it is provided online by the DOS and is unique to your case ... Send your stuff to the address on the barcode coversheet and you're good to go :) I also wrote a cover letter describing the contents of my AOS packet (all the proof I was sending, etc) ...

Hope that's helpful!

Oh - one more thing - it takes about a week for the beneficiary to receive an email response "accepting" the choice of agent ... It was exactly a week for me, and I think someone mentioned that emails tend to come on Mondays ... hope that's useful info ...

Im sorry. What do you mean "if the bill is invoiced online"? Are you saying I can find it online? Can you give me a link?

Thank you for being so helpful :) You are doing so well with your processing. I want to follow in your foot steps.

Hey, we have the perfect same timeline. NVC assigned case number to us was May 14, and generates AOS & IV Bill May 26, 2008. We're supposed to pay online but the site is closed unti June 02, and on the 3rd we're off to go payment online. Lets keep in touch.
