I can agree with your feelings about Jack and Ana Lucia. I'd love it if they both took long dirt naps. Perhaps they'll die in each others arms on the front lines against the Others. That would be terrific.

However, when it comes to the main storyline, I have to disagree. I think the powers that be are pacing it perfectly. It seems to me that many fans want all the answers, now. That's bewildering to me. There are many many things going on to occupy one's mind, if you just take the time to look, that promise to be relevant to the overall arc.

On the other hand, I will admit that this season something is lacking from the flashbacks. They seem to be afterthoughts, and to be continuing just for the sake of following the first seasons format. But, while during the first season they added depth and humanism to the story, now they feel to me like filler.

Also, I no longer have hope of there being method to the repeat madness, but it certainly won't keep me from watching when there is a new episode on.

Well I can't speak for all fans, but I don't want ALL the answers, just a little more than what they are getting. It starts to feel like a soap opera that drags the storyline out for months and by the time they give a resolution to something you've given up watching. I thought Season 1 did a great job at giving the right about of information each episode and still making you want to come back and find out more. Season 2 seems to be dragging it out more without ever getting to the point. I think these feelings might also come from the fact that we are often waiting more than one week between episodes, so we expect a more exciting episode when we finally get it because some of the anticipation has died down over the 3 or more week wait.

ok, now I am swinging more to the side that the guy in the hatch is an other, at first I thought that would be to obviuos..... looks like he is trying to drive a wedge between Locke and Jack....

Locke goes in to give that guy some food and they have this discussion about those two authors Locke was talking about with Jack and then that guy asks this .....

Locke says that him and Jack work together and make decisions together and then Locke leaves and goes to the kitchen part and throws everything onto the floor in anger and then they flash to the guy and he has a smirk on his face....

Jack and Locke continue to butt heads about how to handle the situation, further straining the power balance between our two heroes. And when Henry uses this information to try and get inside Locke's head, John Locke's composure snaps for the first time, giving way to his complete frustration at being trapped by his responsibilites to the hatch.

I can't believe that guy got into Locke's head-things are going to get very interesting. I love Locke!!!!!!!I swore that Ethan was the guy in the hatch with Desmond???? I thought it was so interesting when Kate found the disguises.........I swear it is all some sort of experiment. This show is soooo good.

I swear it is an experiment of some kind. That guy is playing with Locke to see if he will get mad. The fact that he is in the hatch all the time is getting to him.........................god I love this show.
