I thought it was hilarious that Hurley had a stock pile of food. No wonder he isn't losing any weight. Just too bad Sawyer was the one who caught him with it. I can see Sawyer using it against him to get something he wants later down the road.

So is next weeks show a rerun? I really wish they would stop doing that. It just irritates the heck out of me.

And where is Desmond? He has to still be there on the island somewhere.

Desmond is around somewhere & I am sure they will show him soon. I hate the re-runs, they get us all caught up in the show & them NOTHING for weeks-It drives me crazy

Hurley is funny, but I swear they showed the "frog" thing for a reason. I think there is going to be a lot more fighting going on between everyone..................things are getting good!!!!!

Yeah, all the tension between Locke and Jack has to explode soon. I wish someone would put Sawyer in his place. Hurley would be just the one to do it. You wouldn't expect it from him. That would be good.

geez, I just watched it and I can't remember ...

that was kind of strange that army dude knew Arabic, I wonder why they got Sayhid to do the dirty work.... it kind of seems he knew what was coming and wanted to prepare Sayhid

Did you see Sayhid beating on that guy they think is one of the Others? I can't remember if that happened before or after that...... and when the countdown clock was starting to go crazy and it looked like the bunker was shaking....

I know right at the end of the episode Sayhid was talking to Charlie ... He was saying taht he knew that guy was one of the Others because he didn't feel guilty about what he did... (they never really say if he is or not though ) He was also saying something along the lines that everyone has forgotten what the Others are capable of.... they kidnapped that chick with the baby and strung up Charlie and left him for dead and then Sayhid asked Charlie if he had forgotten.... that is how it ended....

from the glance I got it looks like next week's episode is about what happened to that chick with the baby when the Other's kidnapped her......

yes, it was a very good episode. i do think this harry guy is an 'other'. gonna get really interesting there. do you think the 'others' gonna mount a rescue raid? perhaps kidnap someone and do a prisoner exchange?

yes, i agree that the picture the army guy in the truck looked a lot like kate.

ooo the harry guy, after Saeed beat him and Jack opened the door, the harry guy was crouched on the floor and had this look amazingling like Golum of Lord of the Rings.

i love this show. i hate the rerun bit though. we are a Nielsen family, at least for this upcoming week. they have a section for comments. gonna really rip into this repeat during the season business.

I just watched the episode over again and I didn't see any symbol on the frog

also it just hit me when I saw the part with that army guy looking at the picture.... that was Kate in the picture and that guy was her step-dad .... they showed her step-dad in the episode where she blew up her real dad in the house..... before that she thought her step-dad was her real dad.... she went to see her dad at the recruiting office where he worked.... so I assuming he was in the army

i haven't gone back and looked at the show for the frog. anybody catch/read anything about the symbols that popped up un the counter? you know, the one that they have to go by to punch the numbers into the cmputer? i remember them being red and one of them being like a bird. they almost seem like egyptian drawings.

well the symbols are egyptian heiroglyphics: loosely translated to mean: cause death. there was a definite audible noise when the heiroglyphics came up ... almost like huge hatch doors opening ... maybe some sort of nuclear device being armed.

sayid did meet kate's stepdad in the helicopter: and he was looking at a picture of kate when she was younger: it's amazing how all their lives were/are intertwined somehow.

the new 'other' was henry gale, who crashed in a hot air balloon and said he was from minnesota ... which has odd references to the wizard of oz. henry gale was dorothy's uncle, the wizard arrived in oz via a hot air balloon, and the wizard was from minnesota, australia is commonly referred to as 'oz'. kinda reinforces the dream theory ... but whose dream is it?!?!?

There is also a theory about the heiroglyphs that they represent constellations. The five of them corresponding to the constellations of Apollo(?). Apollo candy bar, anyone? Could the sounds be some sort of launch sequence? Of possible note here, the comic book that Walt read and Hurley brought on the plane, Green Lattern/Flash: Faster Friends, involves the unearthing of an alien spacecraft.

Also, if you all will remember, in "What Kate Did", when Kate goes to visit her stepdad in the recruiting office, Sayid is on the television.

And, there is no Dharma symbol on the frog...

on the Jack line, how he has been in a 'commanding' mode...

I think he was made 'chief' by the fact that he saved a lot of ppl. and ppl, including jack, went along. now that ppl are starting to settle in, they start to question things. and thats when 'trouble' starts. Jack is either not capable of leading, or simply has to learn the ropes. (his gayness has no brearing on this btw. ) so, anywho, he is starting to crack under stress and acts, i mean, reacts somewhat harshly. but i think they will settle into a junta styled goverment. made up mostly of the principles.... jack locke ecko kate.

tho, i am curious as to rose and her husband's role in all of this. i was thinking they were going to be the 'parents' of the group. provide parent/godly advice.
