When i saw what happened last night I freaked out too. I was shocked, i didn't see it comnig whatsoever. I missed half of the show because I was on the phone with my mom so I missed out on probably some stuff that woulda helped it make more sense to me but I too always seem to miss the little crucial details. Also the preview for next weeks show stated that ana lucia has died but it didn't say much about libby dying, maybe she won't die, who knows. The show is getting stranger each time. Lol there is so much now and sometimes it's hard to follow.

When you call 877 HANSORG you will be given 5 options. 1 being a general information line and 2 - 5 being lines for Alavar Hanso and the rest of the Hanso Executives.

There are multiple messages available, if you dial "1". Try calling the number three times. Asides from the standard line, an altered message with an interrupted transmission from a female voice called "Persephone" tells you to use the password "Breaking Strain".

Go to www.thehansofoundation.org. Look around the site as it has been now updated. Click the Newsletter Sign up link. Sign in with any name and hit enter and the site will change and you will begin getting a message from "Persephone". Type in "Breaking Strain" and view the site. The end of the secret message has a shot of Joop the orangutan. After this, click on the Joop link and send him a message and view the secret message. The site will change again, double click all the circles as they come up. You will then see secret documents. The second document is signed by the last Hanso Executive. Call back 877 Hansorg and dial 5 to hear his voicemail.

There is a way to get through to a different version of the call where you get put on hold instead of having the usual menu choices. After waiting on hold for several minutes, you are actually connected to a live person. They ask what number you had dialed, you tell them 877HANSORG and are then put back on hold but eventually disconected.

n the fictional world of the television series Lost, The Hanso Foundation was formed by arms purveyor Alvar Hanso who turned his attention away from "keeping the world safe through the development of sophisticated weapons systems" and focused instead on the development of new technologies to "create a brighter future for all humanity."

The Hanso Foundation, through its funding of The DHARMA Initiative, was involved in the construction of facilities on the Lost island.

The Hanso Foundation was first mentioned in the Lost season 2 episode "Orientation" — the orientation film includes the copyright declaration "© The Hanso Foundation 1982". Subsequent to the airing of this episode, the website www.thehansofoundation.org was launched by ABC.

Most of the links on the website led to a page stating "ACCESS DENIED", but a hidden link on the "Active Projects" page led to a page showing the orientation film seen in the "Orientation" episode.

Another "Active Projects" link, the Hanso Life-Extension Project link, displayed a press release dated September 21, 2005 regarding the life-extension of an orangutan named "Joop" celebrating its 105th birthday.

If you click on "Joop's Corner" and look at the webcam for long enough, a mysterious outline of a man can be seen.

Finally, the "Alvar Hanso" page showed a photo of Alvar Hanso. Clicking on this photo showed an animation of a computer screen similar to the one Michael encounters in the episode "The 23rd Psalm". After this, the page displayed an internal memorandum dated October 5, 2005 from the Global Health Organization regarding the Hanso Life-Extension Project.

In March 2006, the website became unavailable. In the offical Lost podcast dated March 28, 2006, the executive producers stated that the site was "down for remodeling" and would be available again in May.

I think I've watched this show and then I read all this intricate backstory and realize I have no idea what I've just seen....

I swear, I sat there with my mouth literally hanging open after those closing gunshots...

LOST could be a fulltime study, for sure.

On the Hanso Foundation website: I was just looking up a Boston Legal ep on abc.com and the BL page is also set up to look like the website for the fictional firm in that show---maybe someone's brainstorm idea over there at ABC??? (funny to read in 'their' email boxes tho...)

Wow! Just wow! I thought he was gonna kill himself, and I didn't think Ana Lucia was gonna die so soon. I think Libby didn't die. But Michael shot himself in the end, right? Or was him shooting his own arm for Jack and the others to think Henry did it all and ran away? So now Michael is one of the Others infiltrated?

By the way peeps, if you don't like spoilers stay away from this week's TV Guide. I read it and their are a lot of give aways in there (IMHO). They discuss Desmond (as in where on earth is he LOL), Michael, Kate and Sawyer/Ana Lu and the final cliffhanger (although they said not even the cast knows what that is ).
