Eben had his interview today and his visa was approved!! I'll post an embassy review as soon as I can talk to Eben about it in detail, but he said there was a lot of waiting involved. He also said that the embassy workers were very nice and asked about how we met and wanted to see pictures as proof of our continued relationship.

We're planning for him to get here on the 23rd of May. His POE will be Denver.

4/13/07 Met in South Africa

7/15/07 -8/8/07 I visited since he couldn't get a visitor visa

9/11/07 Sent in I-129F application

10/4/07 received receipt

10/14/2007 left for South Africa to wait for the paperwork until April

12/19/2007 applied for unabridged birth certificate

2/19/08 received approval

3/25/08 received NOA packet 3!

3/27/08 REapplied for unabridged birth certificate

3/27/08 Applied for police Certification

4/7/08 Medical exam

4/8/08 Finally received Birth certificate. queued at Home Affairs for 4 hours.

4/10/08 Faxed Packet 3 Checklist to Consulate

4/23/08 Arrived back in the US to get ready for Eben

4/29/08 Interview! Visa approved!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

21st December '07: VISA IN HAND

18th January '08: Leaving to US !

12th February '08: received SSN

14th March '08: WEDDING DATE

AOS journey:

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

07th May '08: Biometrics (done)

02nd May '08: Driver's license received

09th May '08: AOS transferred to CSC

15th May '08: AOS is pending at CSC (CRIS email)

18th May '08: AOS touched

04th/09th June '08: EAD Card production ordered (CRIS email) (2 e-mails on different days)

04th June '08: AP approved (CRIS email)

10th June '08: AP in the mail

12th June '08: Approval notice for I765 sent (EAD) (CRIS email)

17th June '08: 2nd visit to SS Office - changed my last name on the card
