I'd send a complete copy of his passport and not the passport itself, but that's just me.

I'd also beef up the proof that he actually saw you on his trips to the UK. All the passport stamps and boarding passes show is that he made trips to the UK.

Do they want his passport or just copies of the pages showing the entry stamps? We copied the photo page and the pages showing the entry to US stamps. Good luck...and speedy approval....

they only want the pages showing entry to UK .....but he will send complete passport just to be sure

I wouldn't feel too safe sending the passport itself. Did you send copies of all pages originally? Just trying to understand why the RFE.

Yeah - I think we sent scans of the stamps but kept the passport

Hi,

I was one of the lucky ones to receive an RFE that was sent out on May 3rd.

I had a couple of questions about this:

1. Do we have to wait till the notice arrives before knowing what additional evidence we need to send or can we call and find out what the RFE is and be able to send it right when the notice gets here? The reason being that I want to get the additional evidence whatever it is into their hands ASAP.

2. How long does it usually take for them to resume processing and hopefully get an approval when we send it back?

I know L and P received the RFE and was able to respond quickly so hopefully everything will work out although I'm perturbed to receive an RFE. I was hoping for an approval.
