I was looking at the progress on the timeline page

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/

On the right side is the approximate dates that the centers are processing

I-129F for K3

CSC: Feb 5, 2008

VSC: Jan 21,2008

I-130 for K3

CSC: January 18, 2008

VSC: January 28, 2008

Ive been watching this for a while now and it appears to me that while CSC is slowly moving on both of them, VSC is only moving on the I-129F.

This may be an effort to get to the same place as CSC so that I-129f is approved first unlike recently when people are only getting I-130 from VSC.

Just an observation, and was wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing.

Princess, i REALLY hope that is the case.

However, if VSC is indeed processing the I-129F petitions for K-3 visas (and not just the ones for K-1), then why haven't we heard of any single approval here on the forum lately?

I dunno, maybe I am just having a bit of a bad day today... every day I also get psyched to see the dates progressing towards eachother. But does it mean anything?

Those dates look just as contrived as the ones on the USCIS site :pop:

Ive played with the timeline search option a bit and I think I figured out how this was calculated but definately has a huge variation (Im a scientist btw and wont accept anything I cant figure out). This gives me some hope but I will admit that at this point I jump on anything that is even slightly encouraging.

I have a job interview in Canada this weekend so I get to see my husband but it says something that Im looking at leaving a job working for the US govt to be with my husband.
