Current Status: Card production ordered.

On April 29, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. K1 Visa Timeline. USA - England. Through VSC - 2003/2004/2005

Oct 6th 2003 - Sent I129F

Oct 10th - NOA1

Nov 25th - NOA2 online

Dec 8th - NOA2 in mail

Dec 13th - Notice telling us application being sent to Embassy within a week (dated 10th)

Dec 18th - Packet 3 received

Dec 21st - Forms sent to Embassy

Dec 29th - Checklist sent to Embassy

Jan 3rd 2004 - Interview date received

Feb 4th - Interview : Granted!

Feb 10th - LHR to JFK

March 20th 2004 - Wedding!

April 30th - Sent AOS & EAD papers to Hartford

May 3rd - Fedex delivered AOS & EAD to Hartford

May 29th -NOA for EAD received; NOA for AoS: forgot to include fingerprint fee. Asking for $70

June 1st - Sent check back for AOS Fingerprinting

June 3rd - EAD Biometrics appointment.

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Where the RFE's from missing documents?

Congratulations! What RFE were you asked about to submit?

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Thanks all. You may look at my profile and see my previous thread on the RFE. Essentially, I have no idea what they were asking for nor did they specify in the RFE letter, nor could USCIS tell me when I called them (seriously). Essentially I ended up compiling things that I didn't have when we originally sent the package and responded. Apparently it was good enough to satisfy the request. Unfortunately I know this response is not too helpful but the whole RFE process was so odd.

Thanks all, hopefully we'll get the card early next week.
