Hello everybody, I just want to say thanks to all of the people who stopped in for my slumber party last night to keep me calm so I wouldnt have to be alone while I waited for Hassan to go to his interview today. (F)

I'm happy to announce that they approved Hassan's visa and he is able to go pick up his passport and visa at the embassy in Kuwait in 2 days!!

The interview did not take long at all...he was in and out of the embassy in about an hour. They only asked him a few questions and quickly looked through all the evidence we gathered that he took with him to the interview and they said we looked like an amazing couple and that they are happy how people can find true love from an ocean away. Then they said to Hassan "Welcome to America, you have been approved!"

After the interview Hassan text my cell phone and told me that they didn't accept him. When I read that I started crying and asking myself what more can we show them to make them realize Hassan and I do love eachother!! We have collected a ton of proof over the last 2 years of our marriage...I didn't know what else I could provide them. Then while all that was going on my cell phone rang and it was Hassan. He heard me crying and asked me if I was ok and of course I cried my heart out to him and then he says "Oh my god honey you really are going to kill me, I was just joking habebte....they approved our petition, I got the visa." When I heard that I screamed in excitment and I could not stop jumping around and dancing!!

I just want to let everyone know that is going through this process that yes your dreams can and do come true!!! :luv:(L)

Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. It sounds like you prepared so well and it is wonderful that you shouldn't be waiting long to be with your habib. Good luck and best wishes you.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Mabruk Melissa!!!   I was going to pop in last night but I was so tired after taking Benadryl for my allergies - all I could do was go to bed and pass out. Very happy that things went so smoothly. When will he be coming home to you?
