YES! i just had my interview today April 29, 2008,. and it wasn't very nice experience for me.. CO was mean to me... i expect him to be nice because he was very good to those couple who were interviewed before me,. but he wasn't nice at all.. maybe because i was alone and my fiance wasn't there with me... i don't know...

My experience was kinda traumatic... and made me think that i will never set a foot in the US Embassy again... my mind is trying to forget it,. so don't ask me to recall about it...

It wasn't my LUck to have a nice CO with a big smile and say "Good morning" back to me....

I envy those girls i met who shared their pleasant interview experiences,. their CO were very nice and smiles alot,... and asked them only 2 to 5 questions,.

the nice words i heard from my CO when i asked him if I'm approved and he said "i think everything is OK, just wait and pay for the visa delivery"

I received a PINK slip,. then paid Delbros for visa delivery..

When i got back to the hotel i texted my Chris and he called me,. I cried over the phone and told him about my unpleasant interview experience.. he's very supportive and wished he was here with me...

I hope that the document verification stuffs will be over soon so i could have my visa already before my flight (May 16th)

I really want to be with Chris so bad cuz i miss him like crazy,... I LOVE YOU HONEY

for those people who's going to have their interview soon,. Stay pretty inside and out no matter what happen... and remember that TWO OF THE HARDEST TESTS IN LIFE: 1. THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT

2. THE COURAGE TO ACCEPT WHATEVER YOU ENCOUNTER

thank you guys for all the Prayers!!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!! KEEP ON PRAYING!!!

Hi Xhaxha! My heart goes out to you (even if I don't know how bad it really was). I think the COs are sometimes manhid and don't really understand what we go through, how hard we prepare for the interview, and how badly we want this experience to be pleasant and to be done as quickly and as painlessly as possible. But based on a lot of posts here, it's not always easy and fast. Tingnan mo na lang and threads about Doc Verification, sobrang dami.

But you know what's good about the "bad" things/ experiences that God allows us to encounter? It's knowing that yes, as you've said,GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME , even if the circumstances say otherwise. He is the Sovereign God whose purposes and plans cannot be thwarted.

Just take heart and joy in the fact na you got the pink slip and you will soon be with your honey!! You will be able to look back then and laugh about your experience - which I know has made you stronger and tougher. Maybe you needed that experience to prepare you for life in America, hehe. Congratulations and God bless you.

Congrats! As others have stated, sometimes there are bumps in the road, but thank God you made it through. In fact, I have always stated that the visa stage of the process is the worst primarily because everyone is separated from the one that the love for some period in time not to mention that things happen. Whether it's a mean guard at the SLMEC, the constant run around because of "proper identification" at the NSO after waiting for 82 hours (I'm exaggerating a bit), the document verification process failing, or whatever, it's always something. God bless the couple that is graced enough not to experience any snags in the road.

It's simply not easy any way you slice it...

Cheers!!!
