Please help me.

1 How many pay stubs are they looking for?

2 Should I bring the last three years of tax returns?

3 How far back should the phone records go?

4 How far back should the bank statements go?

5 Will they keep my original birth certificate (I have to travel with it since I did not get to update my passport with my married)

Is there anything else I should take?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Wow, yankesgirl, thats right around the corner! they didnt even give you a months notice. You better hurry with the medical and stuff.

thanks to everyone on the congrats......

i know marlita.....i started stressing becasue we didnt have at least a month to plan on medical and such......but i got him one scheduled for the 21st october in mobay....now i am stressing that neither of us will receive the appt letter before then.......i pray one of us does......and the embassy called him to see if he could come for an appt on the 20th of october and he told them NO.....i was like you told them WHAT?!?!?!?!? he couldnt reach me to see if that would work for me so he declined it.......how we would have received an appt letter by then and got medical in time for an appt next week is beyond me so i guess he was correct and smart thinking to decline it.......however i did email the embassy to see if we could get that date back and can we come in for the interview still......fingers crossed but if not then i guess waiting 16 days wont be so bad considering we have waited this long.......your date is right around the corner so i bet you are getting anxious!

Whoa! What are they doing over at that embassy? The 20th is a Monday. Sounds like they finally got it together and opened all days of the week to family based visas. I think its good you kept the November date. The October date would have stressed the 2 of you out to get done so fast. I assume you are not going to the interview. So you dont have to worry about airline flights either. Well good luck.

I'm actually pretty calm. Not much I can worry about now, but have my stuff in order and pray that God leads the way.

i am going down for the interview......actually i am taking the babies and my brother and parents are going as well......will only be there for a couple days but its better than nothing.......

Wait? You sent all that stuff to the NVC right? You should have sent in that stuff with your AOS I-864 during the NVC process. As a CR/IR1 filer you only need to bring evidence and such to the interview. You already proved financial responsibility when you filed AOS. As far as phone records. I guess bring a few months, within the last year if possible. You should be getting the 10 year card since you have been married over a year. If you want to bring paystubs, I guess you can, but that stuff should already be at the embassy in your file.

Shrewdgal,

I would refer to my other post 'DO I HAVE EVERYTHING' because those who have gone before us have suggested I bring a copy of everything already sent to the Embassy.

I know that, but I didnt send any bank letters or some of the other things mentioned. I got the impression that she was getting these things specifically for the interview and that it wasnt something she had sent in before. thanks!!

I am so discouraged. What in the world?

This month makes a year since we have filed our I-130 and to see that it is taking 6 months more to get an interview date. This is all so unfair.

I am sorry that you dont have a date yet J-gay. Hopefully soon.
