if the embassy is backlogged as they claimed why don't they add more days for CR1 interviews to clear the clutter instead of business as usual. You would think by doing this for so long they would have some foresight about how to handle this situation but what do they care. we are just case numbers waiting to be called. Forget our families and our lives.they are just doing their jobs while we wait and suffer. how considerate.'

if it seems like i am being sarcastic and a little harsh well i am. i am mad as hell but i have to take it and that is the worst part. My heart goes out to all of you, like myself, who are going through this ordeal i feel your pain.

I just called the NVC and was told they are still scheduling for September. I guess that is a good sign. Still some hope. Hey did anyone see the Air Jamaica Fall Sale? Some good prices.

I just found a post from Kishmar...does this post mean she finally got an interview date....if so kishmar congratultions....I am sooo happy for you and this shows a very good sign that it will be no longer than 5 months for a date (doesn't really sound good but at least we have a time frame)...Kishmar come back and let us know when is your date...I will PM you...

Read between the lines people. She gave us a lot of info but we did not see it. She says the message on the IVR has changed. When your case is completed, the only message you hear from the IVR is case forwarded. When your case is forwarded is after a date is assigned. She also said she has come to the end of a long, tiresome and dreary journey.

She posted there but not here so we were a bit confused. I PM'd her too to ask and no response. Its fine to know she got a date, but it helps us more to hear the date or if she had an expedite brewing or something.

Tash, Forbes.....you guys didn't receive any dates this week???...I called NVC and they said they are still scheduling so hopefully next week will be your week....I want to hear some good news before i leave to JA so i can tell hubby some sort of timeframe....he is getting very frustrated right now and keeps complaining about how everyone down there is getting on his last nerve and he is lonely...yada yada yada...I try to tell him to go out and have some fun with his friends (well not to much fun )...but he says he doesn't like to go out without having someone to whine with... ...I told him to just post the wall like most JA men do anyway... ...well anyway he calls and tells me he is going to a gogo club ( ) on saturday...i'm cool with it though cause that is really the only type of club out there that is close to him...he took me there a couple of times when i'm out there...its pretty cool...we get our dance on when we are there...(yeah i get down too...saw some of the dancehall post on the yardie thread... )...but its hard not to comment on the females that strip...JA men love big women i tell you...there is one big girl and she gets all the attention...

I am really hoping you guys get a date really soon...if kishmar received hers you should of gotten one also since your case was completed before her...i would call dos (202-663-1225) and speak with a visa specialist just to double check if you got an interview date...maybe NVC is slow with updating...just a suggestion...

I tried calling NVC last night, maybe about 15 min b4 they closed and never got thru. Cant beleive they were so busy that late at night. Hope we hear something soon from one of you ladies!
