Hi all,

I am new here and currently going through the process of obtaining my Fiance Visa. I have a couple of questions about the I-134 form that so far I haven't been able to find an answer for.

1. What is the bond that they ask about?

2. What circumstances make it neccessary that they would require a bond?

3. If you have a co-sponser would it help on not having to deposit a bond?

My Fiance is my Sponser and she is below 125%, but she has savings, an IRA and house that total more than wht they require. Would we need a co-sponser?

Thanks

Rodz

In simple form.. bond is just a "guarantee" that your fiance' won't become a burden on the US govt. In your case, having an IRA and house(make sure u show documentation of property) and Yes, having a Co-sponser eliminates the need for getting a "bond".

Hope that helps.
