what, in your opinion, is the cause?

The police and "institutional racism". If it wasn't for those two they would live happily ever after. Trade guns for books etc etc

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Perhaps its a part, beyond the sarcasm in the cause.

As for suggesting solutions, perhaps that's what most here should be focusing on...

My solution is simple. If they dare bring that ####### into my neighborhood I will shot the ####### out of them. Then Jesse Jackson can come down, and cry racist, so I can shot him as well.

But I really am curious as to what you think is the cause of such problems. It was a straight-forward question, I didn't mean it to be accusatory.

That is how us Aussies deal with ####. We would have had this race issue worked out a long time ago by rolling up our sleeves.

I have not studied the cause but I can see who is shooting up the neighborhoods throughout the United States of America. Who is allowed to roam and commit crime as they see fit.

How is the gun laws working for ya so far? Shame on America, no one needs a loaded gun in their home, and most times as facts state, that weapon will be used on someone you know, as let's say family and friends than a theif in the night.

Great actually. Thanks for asking..

Shame on America lol. I would like, I would pay to see the same group committing the majority of crimes here try pull the ####### off in the middle east. They would be eaten alive there; literally. But here it is a case of poor poor them. They had it tough prior to the 60's, even though the person committing the crime was born post 1990 etc.

Puny crimes. They seen nothing. Getting down with their homeboys in the hood (housing projects) with their sagging pants, "Yo-Yo wazzup" with pot between his fingers. I'd love to see if that'll change them if they are put into war in the middle east. Are they going to value their life with their families more, and appreciate what they have?

As with everything, there is a reason for this too. People don't just wake up one day and decide that they are going to go around shooting people. I understand that this concept is more than you are able to grasp, but if you choose to continue believing as you do, then there is nothing anyone can do about it. Perhaps, though, you might want to consider trying to figure out why people do things before you start spouting off racist bullshlt rhetoric like this. Just a thought.

I just though of something based on what you said. Many make it out as if the poor hood rats are simply a victim of "institutional racism". They make it out as if these guys are a Chris Gardner trying to get through life with the odds stacked against them. Instead why not ask these guys what they have done, legally, to better their lives. Ask how wearing clothes 20 times your size is going to get you in the door of a company. How destroying their community, their government funded housing, is helping them advance.

And by only recently (officially) addressing a scandalous policy relating to the treatment of aboriginals.
