Hi, NVC will be assigning me case number soon for my approved K3 NOA2. What is in "Packet 3" which the consulate sends out? Would like to be prepared for a quick turnaround once it comes. I looked up many sites and found information on Packet 4 but not Packet 3. Would be even better if anyone who went through this with the Mumbai consulate or any consulate in India could guide me. Thanks!

I am looking at the instructions for K-3 applicants form on Mumbai Consulate's website - http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/uploads/imag...g/Infosheet.pdf

They mentioned that one would need to mail the "Applicant Statement" and DS-230 Part 1 first. Thereafter, one would need to mail just the checklist. To understand correctly, please help me with the following questions -

1. Do I need to mail Mumbai Consulate 2 times (1st time is "Application Statement" + DS-230 I and 2nd time is the checklist)?

2. Applicant Statement has a section for writing e-mail address. Is this communication method recommended?

3. The BMB case # is the case number that NVC assigned to approved I-129F correct?

My K-3 is not approved yet but just trying to understand the future process.

Thanks.
