police clearance certificate

Hi, i like to know if you do not submit police clearance certificate with ds-230 , can you submit with consulate in bombay.. i forget to send one with Ds-230, my passport was issu less then 6 month ago. do i need police clearance certificate . thank's for help...

11/01/2007 I-130 file

04/10/2008 NVC received case number assigned

04/21/2008 NVC generates AOS bill

04/21/2008 AOS fee bill and IV Fee bill paid online

04/23/2008 DS-3032 and I-864 packet send out document print out online

Is your consulate an appointment post? If so it should hve been sent with the DS-230. Just call and speak to a live person and ask. If not you will receive a RFE for it.
