The primary. If you filed as a married couple, the return is in one persons name with the other person listed as spouse. The former is the primary.

Bah, this pushes back our rebate check a couple of weeks. I should be the primary.

Not sure what we'll use it for. There's a computer I have my eye on, but it might end up ensuring C. can visit his family this summer. :)

Great! Good for you. So did you file as married joint return with two dependent children ($1200+300+300 = $1800)?

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Nothing for us yet. I guess I have to learn to wait a little longer, until May 09 at least. The IRS direct deposited our tax refund and we filed 8 weeks early before the deadline.

My husband is the main filer and his SSN last 2 digits are in the 70's.

Keeping my fingers crossed at the moment.

did you use direct deposit on your taxes?

i tought i did direct diposit, but i look back to my taxes and i did the next day check with h&r block.

I call them and they said i should received mine by mail because i didnt do direct diposit......!

I did that next day check....

Haven't received mine yet. Filed in early Feb., and did direct deposit. Last 2 digits of my SSN are 10. Supposed to get today. What a surprise, not there.
