here's what I get:

We are sorry, but we cannot provide the status of your Stimulus payment. Please check the Payment Schedule available on our web site. If the filing status on your 2007 tax return is Married Filing Joint, please use the FIRST Social Security Number shown on your return when you use the Payment Schedule to find your estimated payment date. The schedule will show you approximately when you can expect to receive your payment, if you qualify for it.

Hey, the tool works! And we had to defer income, max out our 401K's and SEP IRAS just to get this. I understand they will claw it back if we make to much next year.

Im going to buy something nice. Like gas for the car. Or add another ounce of gold to the stack. Or something.

Your total Stimulus payment was calculated as $1,043.80 and consists of the following:

  • Basic Amount: $1,043.80.
  • Qualifying Child Amount: $0.00 (Based on 0 qualifying children).
Your payment of $1,043.80 is scheduled to be deposited to your bank on May 2, 2008. If you do not receive the credit by May 7, 2008, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then.

Your payment was reduced because your adjusted gross income exceeded the maximum allowable amount to receive the full credit. The maximum amount to receive the full credit for each filing status is:

  • Married Filing Joint: $150,000
  • All other Filing Statuses: $75,000.
Your payment was reduced by 5% of the income that exceeds the amount shown. Edited by cmartyn

It doesn't seem like anyone is getting it earlier like they said would happen. I'm sure we'll get ours May 9, as that is when we are scheduled to.
