I just got mine last night, but the effective date isn`t until tomorrow anyway? Weird.

Nothing for me either and I'm an 04. I do worry because I sent a paper return in from England just under 6 weeks ago, Easter weekend in fact. I'm kinda thinking I won't be getting mine this week.

It's a great way to delay the processing of your tax return - if all they care about is the postmark!

I might just mail them from England next year.

But when you're a resident here don't we automatically get a 3 or 6 month extension? I didn't use it cos I am expecting a refund. What's cool is, even after that initial 'I live abroad' extension, you can still file for another extension. I had to look into it because I didn't get my W2 until March I was shitting bricks!

If that's not an option then I'm sure mailing out a paper return on 15 April from England will delay it as much as possible

I don't think you can check until after the date listed on the payment schedule.
