nothing here either and today was suppose to be the day according to that stupid schedule... :crying:

I really wonder if because we had to pay (and believe me, we paid ON TIME and ALL of it), that it will take longer... :crying:

Did you pay yours by direct debit. We did, through Turbo Tax and TT said the rebate would be direct deposited to the same account, unless we wanted a paper check. ARGH! pfft!

I guess it will get here when it gets here. I just wish at some point in my life I could be someone to get something quickly and easily from the government... I hope the rebate doesn't take as long as I-751 approval.... :unsure:

I filed and had my refund direct deposit and my rebate is being sent paper check, dunno how that one happened, and they didnt know either when i asked.

I wanna be one of those ppl too :(

We got our $1200 DD yesterday, right on schedule. The supermarket where we do our primary shopping is offering that if you buy gift cards for their store with your rebate (up to $1200) they will give you 10% more back in a gift card. We are leaning toward spending ours on that.

Not what the government had in mind, but I like the idea of $120 in "free" food.

We're suppose to be in the May 9th batch for direct deposit. We do qualify - married filing jointly with dependent children.

As of right now, there's nothing showing in our account. :-( We never rec'd the 2nd IRS letter in the mail and the IRS check the status of your stimulus payment says they have no information.

Anyone else here still in limbo that was in an already scheduled batch?

Is there an IRS # to call to ck status?

We were supposed to receive ours on the 9th as well and still nothing. One thing that might be different about our situation, however. . . we had originally direct filed back in February and received our rebate - then received an extra form that should have been included in our taxes from some land we sold so filed an amended return paying the tax on that amount only. Since we knew we had to pay tax on that we held off on filing the amended return until a few days before the deadline - and that had to be a paper submission. So, I suspect the amended return kicked us out of the regular schedule and we will receive ours sometime later.

Yeah, we were scheduled for the May 9th deposit as well. The only thing I can think of that would have made ours different is that we owed. But we used direct debit for the payment and we know it was accepted by the IRS...so...I don't know. They don't say anywhere if it's different if you'd owed. And when we filed Turbo Tax said the stimulas would be direct deposited into the same account the payment was direct debited. *SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH* :crying:
