We get "stimulated" tomorrow.

Did you look on the "stimulus payment" web page, or are you just going by the SSN chart?

I logged in to my credit union and there was a pending transaction from the IRS. Since we already got our tax refund, it has to be the stim.

gotcha...

I'm getting 1200 dollars, that is what I hoped for. If not, then 600.

You will get 300$ if your wife hasnt worked and you have no kids.

i just got off the phone with IRS about this rebate thing

im getting $600 bc ed didnt work but i claimed joshua who is 3

Thanks for the heads up! Now, that gift that I'm planning on buying will not be possible. :crying:

My wife didn't work and we have 2 children, we got $1,800.00

Im quoting the lady from IRS, not giving my opinion.

She sd since i didnt file jointly (and per what i made for the year), then i get $300 for me and $300 per dependant

Prolly has nothing to do with your wife, its prolly your income for the year

From the IRS website:

Many, but not all, taxpayers qualify for the maximum basic payment of $600 for singles or $1,200 for married couples[filing jointly]. Many parents are also receiving an additional $300 for each qualifying child, born after Dec. 31, 1990.

Your payment may be less than the maximum for one or more of the following reasons:

  • You are single and your net income tax liability is less than $600. If you file Form 1040 net income tax liability is the amount shown on Line 57, plus the amount on Line 52.
  • You are married and your net income tax liability is less than $1,200.
  • You are single and your adjusted gross income (AGI) is more than $75,000. On Form 1040, AGI is the amount on Line 37.
  • You are married filing a joint return and your AGI is more than $150,000.
  • You owe back taxes.
  • You have non-tax federal debts such as unpaid student loans or child-support obligations.

What am I missing here... Your hubby is present in the USA, has his greencard therefore is a resident alien for tax purposes...you are married....... How can you file HOH?

HOH is for unmarried individuals with a qualifying child.

YMMV
