CFO Sticker at NAIA

Here is my dilema.....my step-daughter needs a CFO sticker to get out of the Phils with us. I made the mistake of booking our flight on a Monday and forgot we need a day to go to the CFO office to get her sticker. I emailed the CFO and they said we can get it at the CFO counter inside the Manila Airport (NAIA) the day of our flight out. The problem with that is the counter opens at 6am and our flight leaves at 7:45am. Not a lot of time.

My question is....does anyone remember where it was at the airport in Manila that they look for the CFO sticker? Does she have to have it at check-in with the airline or is that not required until she passes the immigration counter. I would not be so worried if we can get to the airport at 5am to check-in, get our boarding passes and check our luggage with the airline without the sticker and then go stand and wait for the counter to open at 6am to get the sticker. That would mean that we would only have to get through immigration and security still in that hour and a half before the flight. However, if they will check for that at the ticket counter on check-inwith Northwest, then I would not chance it because we could not even check in for our flight till after 6am. We called the CFO counter at the airport and they advised that it should only take about 15 minutes to get the sticker once the counter opens.

We thought about going the day before since we will be in Manila anyway and they are open 7 days a week, but then the guy reminded us that we cannot enter the terminal without a ticket for that day. There would be no way to access the CFO counter because its inside the terminal and our ticket would be for the following day.

Our only other option is to add days in Manila at the beginning or end of our trip to go to the CFO office in Manila. Either one will be expensive. If we go at the beginning, we will have to fly a family member to Manila to bring the passport/visa as I will not chance it to LBC or another courier. If it got lost I would be sick! It was too hard to get it and too hard to replace it if it got lost. Second option is to do it when we leave, but that means going to Manila on Friday early morning instead of Sunday as it stands now with our flights. Two extra days in Manila.

Would you take a chance and try to get it the morning of our flight at the airport if you were in our shoes?

Thanks for any thoughts.
