I was expecting a long wait but I just recieved my approval notice and new permanent residence card and I only had to wait just over 4 months since I sent in my application.

Thankyou and congratulations to USICS

I hope everyone else gets approved so quickly

and if you get the chance to sit it out or dance.......

june 11 - 129f sent

june 16 - NOA1

august 20-NOA2

september 16-recieved pkt3

september 28- returned pkt3

Sent several emails to embassy asking when was interview date

Novemmber 2- email confirming 19th Nov as interview date

November 2- embassy posted packet 4 but it never arrived

November 10- rang embassy

November 11- finally recieved packet 4

November 19- APPROVED

November 23-recieved visa

december 31 2004 arrived in atlanta

2005

January 7 we got married

January 14 applied for ssn, not in system

January 28 still not in system

Febury 8 sent off aos and ead

Febuary 11 recieved in chicago

febuary 11 in ssa system

Febuary 19 recieve ssn

March 1 NOA for EAD arrived

March 2 NOA for AOS arrived

March 5 biometrics and fingerprint appointment

March 23 got drivers license

March 31 EAD approved on line

April 7 EAD card arrived

April 10 Got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Octobe 13 case transferred to csc(aos)

December 24 RFE

January 19 AOS APPROVED

June 12, 2009 - USCIS TX received Packet

June 15, 2009 - Notice Date

June 19, 2009 - Recieved NOA

July 15, 2009 - Scheduled for biometrics

Sept 21, 2009 - Scheduled for Interview ....Passed the interview test

Oct. 16, 2009 - Oath taking

AOS is one of the easier, quicker things you will file.

It was AOS right? You have conditions lifted in the title; but looks like AOS in your timeline.

From your timeline it shows you applied at TSC in Dec. 07, were you transferred to the Vermont or California service center for processing? I applied 2 days after you and I was transferred to Vermont so just wondering what service center your lifting conditions was processed at.

That's wonderful news, especially since you're in Georgia and so are we. Hopefully that's a good sign for us. Did you have an interview or just get the card? Where did they send you for your biometrics?

Did you have any trouble getting your drivers license renewed while you were waiting? My husbands expires in June and I'm worried he'll have problems. He just got it in November and they only made it good for the about 7 months until his green card expired, even though they charged him the full $20 to issue it.
