My fiance and I filed our I129 back in Chester UK on Feb 14th. We received NOA1 on March 3 and are currently awaiting NOA2. We haven't received any additional RFE...(I guess no news is good news) My question is in the rush of gathering all our documents together, we forgot to make copies of everything. We can reprint a few of the documents (i.e cover letter) however not all. Has this happened to anyone...please advise and let us know what we need to do. I understand this will be required during the interview process. Lesson learned: We will make copies going forward. :P

They won't require a copy of the petition for the interview; they'll have your actual petition at the interview. It's forwarded to London from the National Visa Center here in the States. However, it's a good thing to have for your own records.

The one piece of paper from this stage that you WILL want to keep quite safe, as you'll need it later, is the NOA-2 (approval notice) for your I-129F petition. You'll need that when you get married and you file for AOS stateside.

But yes, do make copies from here on in. You never know. ;)

Abby (U.S.) and Ewen (Scotland): We laughed. We cried. Our witness didn't speak English. Happily married (finally), 27 December 2006.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.

none of it sticks on you, you shake it off

there's nothing wrong with you

On second thought, let us not go to Camelot. 'Tis a silly place.
