Can someone please help me...My financee and I are wondering what happens after we finish the Packet 3...Do we send it in and then wait for the interview...or is the interview date just set automatically?

My finacee says we are supposed to wait because on the form it says to "bring these forms with you" So we really have no Idea what to do at this point ~~!!

you send back the forms it asks for (DS-230,DS-156, DS-156K..) right away. and collect everything on the checklist and make a medical appointment. once you have everything collected and have a medical appointment scheduled you send the checklist back. that lets them know you have everything ready for the interview and they will schedule your interview. once they schedule your interview you will receive packet 4 which is the interview appointment letter. you take all the documents on the checklist to the interview. (birth certificate, New police certificate, passport, I-134 plus the evidence, relationship evidence.... the only thing you send to the embassy is the forms they ask for. (DS-230....)
