Hello Members,

This is to inform everyone who has a K-3 spouse petition waiting for approval, as of early this March, 2008 the Manila Embassy will not ship Packet 4 to beneficary but you might get a letter informing you that they recieved the petiton from the NVC. Packet 4 is now downloadedable throw this link Packet 4 at the bottom of web page make sure to double click your type of visa in English or Tagalog version. Packet 4 is the instructions and procedures and reqirements your beneficary will need for her to begin and schedule her appointments for the visa interview, remember that this link includes other visa types so make sure you pick and click for K-3.

It takes the NVC 5 days to mail the approved visa to Manila. You or your beneficary is now required to call and schedule their interview dates you can do this by calling the following numbers...use this number for lawyers and petitioners 1-888-877-9888, when you first call you have to purchase a pin number with a credit card your credit card will be charged $ 18.00 Dollars, save your pin number and when you call again you will enter your pin and you will have access to a live person to schedule appointment for your beneficary, this pin number is good for 90 days only and this phone number is for lawyers or petitioners calling from the USA only, and for any questions you may have for them.

Your beneifiacry can also call this toll number 1-909-101-7878 in the philippines but it will olny work on the following carriers PLDT or Smart landline touchtone phone only and they will charge PHP 35.00 per minute, Again this for use in the philippines only and she can talk to someone live to setup her appointment and ask questions in English or Tagalog.

Remenber that when USCIS informs you your visa is approved and it has been delivered to NVC you can call this number at NVC for a status of your visa 603-334-0700.

Hope this will be of help to those that are near to an approval soon from USCIS to make things go smooth.

Both of my visa where approved on March 12 but the 129F spouse was sent to embassy and my I-130 was kept in USA so I will be processing my wife as non-immigrant. did not have a choice to process the I-130 but thats what I petitioned her for k-3 vice I-1R anyways, I was just hoping for the other visa I-1R, sometimes they approve the I-130 first not lucky but at least my wife will be with me soon.

Good luck to all...

Correction. A number of places you refer to "approve visa" or "approved visa" when you what is approved is a petition. Only a US Consulate abroad can approve a K or immigrant visa.

Otherwise, I'm sure the above is critical information for PI cases.
