hi every1..

i have my interview on 5" may...

things which i have gathered are:

-my appointment letter

-2 passport size photos

-passport

-2 copies of ds-156(filed on line and printed copies to be taken on the interview

-medical report

-police report

affidavit of support

in the affidavit of support i have got: i134 filled by my husband, a letter from his work stating his work status and his pay, a letter from his bank showing his savings,all his tax records,his pay stubs,

AS PROOF OF OUR RELATIONSHIP[/u][/u]

i have OUR WEDDING MOVIES, WEDDING PHOTOS,LETTERS AND E-MAILS,

CARDS EXCHANGED, PHONE RECORDS THAT IS THE OUT GOING AND THE IN COMING CALLS, TXT MESSAGE RECORDS, GIFTS THAT I RECEIVED....

DO YOU THINK THAT I HAVE MISSED SOMETHING...

IF YES THEN DO TELL IT WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED....

u don't need to bring the passport and medical report since SLEC will forward this to USEM after you have taken your medical exam.

dont' forget to bring the following:

birth certificate on nso security paper

cenomar on nso security paper

latest nbi clearance

baptismal certificate (if you have one just for additional supporting docs)

ds156k (1 copy)

ds157 (2 copies)

make sure your affidavit of support is original and notarized

arrange your docs in an organized manner. doing so will make your interviewer happy coz you won't be wasting their time.

The OP will be interviewed on a K3 visa so I think a CENOMAR is not needed.

Oppps I am confused with that, how come we have to BRING 2 copies when the bank validated just 1 copy of DS 157?

Do u mean, 1 DS 156,1 DS 156K and 1 DS 157 ?? Thanks ahead ;)

you need to submit 2 copies of the DS156, 1 copy of the DS156k and 2 copies of the DS157 (1 validated by the bank & 1 with no validation)

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 22, 2008 - Sent AOS Package to CHICAGO Lockbox

July 24, 2008 - received package

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

Aug 01, 2008 - Touched....

Oct 01, 2008 - Received EAD

hi is it different for K3 visa photo? coz mine is 2x2 (k1)

I had passport photo before my interview but when I checked again the usem site it says 2x2, so I went to photo studio again :)

coz the passport photo size is smaller than the 2x2..

hi! good to know ul be having ur interview already. I would like to know about ur timeline/visa journey, my hubby filed K3 too last December 2007. I-129F sent last March 4, 2008 and still waiting for the NOA2.
