I passed my medical on 16th April and received a call from the consulate yesterday advising me of my interview date - 16th May. I'm happy................ Considering resigning today!

06.17.2010 - submitted our papers

06.19.2010 - papers arrived at Chicago lockbox

06.24.2010 - Check cashed

06.28.2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy received (9 days from the day they got our papers)

07.05.2010 - Received Biometrics Schedule (July 26)

08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)

Yay Nadia!!!! What superb news for today :dancing: I knew your medical wouldn't be a problem .... so, now onto interview :) which you'll fly through.

Hmmmm resignation huh? I'd follow your instincts on that one, only you know what is best.

12th Sept 2007 - sent I 130 to CSC

5th Jan 2008 - Received NOA 1

16th May 2008 - Approved (NOA2 in 247 days )

18th May 2008 - Touch (Guess its been sent to USCIS mail room)

20th May 2008 - Received Hard Copy NOA2

I 129 F

7th Jan 2008 - Sent I 129 F to CSC

10th Jan 2008 - Received by CSC

18th Jan 2008 - Received NOA 1

16th May 2008 - Approved (NOA2 in 130 days )

18th May 2008 - Touch (Guess its been sent to USCIS mail room)

20th May 2008 - Received Hard Copy NOA2

21st May 2008 - Received Docs at NVC

xxx xxx xxxx - Case # generated

28th May 2008 - Sent to USEM Colombo

29th May 2008 - USEM Colombo confirmed receipt

I'm very happy for you! Seems Joburg has finally gotten there stuff together because that's 3 of us that got our interview dates this week! And I know all our interviews will go perfectly!

4/13/07 Met in South Africa

7/15/07 -8/8/07 I visited since he couldn't get a visitor visa

9/11/07 Sent in I-129F application

10/4/07 received receipt

10/14/2007 left for South Africa to wait for the paperwork until April

12/19/2007 applied for unabridged birth certificate

2/19/08 received approval

3/25/08 received NOA packet 3!

3/27/08 REapplied for unabridged birth certificate

3/27/08 Applied for police Certification

4/7/08 Medical exam

4/8/08 Finally received Birth certificate. queued at Home Affairs for 4 hours.

4/10/08 Faxed Packet 3 Checklist to Consulate

4/23/08 Arrived back in the US to get ready for Eben

4/29/08 Interview! Visa approved!
